But no. I'm mostly concerned that people are dying, and that many people I encounter in supermarkets/online/whilst waiting for my take-out order are only marginally concerned, do not wear masks, aren't social distancing, possibly don't wash their hands for 20 seconds (no I'm not the hand-washing police... lol), among other things. Lots of stuff. Mostly stuff I can't control.

I do care, VG. It's not only about "the right". What I'm saying there though isn't false. Trump's excuse for defunding a major asset makes no sense and is disgraceful.

Death rate is usually around 0.8% a year, city of 11 million, that's 88,000

So either only 2% of them die at home where most people spend most of their time, or 30 is way off


..... and 1/3 of those Covid deaths aren't Covid deaths

 

somewhere I read the average death per day in new york city is 150.. its up to 250 a day, one day was 750. now the numbers are going down..

 

Nature can be brutal....

 

People can care about multiple issues and the more people, the more diversity on issues too. This is actually good.

Should we really all be busy with one thing? Imagine if we were all as busy with it in the same way as you

The 20-30 bodies are those bodies that someone accidentally stumbled upon or a neighbor calls the police
because of a strange odor coming from the next unit over. That number has jumped up substantially.

I would like the media jabbing to get more precise. Far from all media is the same. We're talking international here after all! So in this post its clear the american media is adressed:

I'm now wondering: is the statistic info lacking due to the healthcare system or due to the media?

 

Did you know virologists and epidemiologists are not experts in their respective fields anymore because VG interpreted the media wrong and they're not experts on covid19?

 

Nobody will ever know the true number of covid-19 deaths in the US... But it will be much higher than "reported numbers"
