Holy Thursday came and went in our house without event. In fact, the entirety of Holy Week was uneventful being that no one could go to mass (my parents usually do, all the time). It's recognized as the holiest time of the year, but I think more people take Christmas seriously.

 

We recently had our 9th reported case of the corona, a person in their 60s. No deaths yet that I'm aware of.

Our governor, Andy Beshear, has ordered that police officers begin recording license plates of anyone attending mass gatherings and then pass that info on to the local health departments. The health department would then be required to order a mandatory two week quarantine for the people in attendance. Senator Rand Paul, who was infected with the coronavirus not long ago, doesn't like the idea.

Paul either still doesn't take this seriously or, more likely, he's trying to make it political.
