Seems both in Italy and New York Covid deaths have been over reported, they had so many deaths at once and didn't have didn't have enough tests to swipe, the up to 20% on some days that died at home were written up as Covid deaths

I am more inclined to think the same thing happened in China, in Hubei anyway

The eastern Provinces where Beijing and Shanghai are however. Either they are pretty much the only regions in the Northern hemisphere temperate zone untouched by the virus, or there is some giant cover up

 

Well,

A) pretty much every other world leader did the same thing up until mid February

B) we were supposed to be counting deaths in the millions by now

It took 9 days for both the number of worldwide cases and deaths to double. That's not exponential. And don't go telling me it's because social distancing policies in India, Indonesia and Mexico are working so well

The estimate for the number of worldwide influenza deaths a year is 1/4 million to 1/2 million. We are going to struggle to even get to that bottom range of 1/4 million with covid deaths now.

So what the fuck did just happen? A bunch of first word countries totally Shat themselves because it's the first time they faced and epidemic without a vaccine in 50 years

There will be 1/2 million malaria deaths this year, all preventable. Another 8 million from other communicable diseases, 99% of that preventable

Not that your country fully locked down, but others in Europe did, none of them early enough anyway

Roughly 48,000 deaths in Europe so far, 20% of those are a maybe when it comes to dying from Sars-CoV-2

How many extra people would have died if no measures had been taken at all. Do you have any idea? How many did/will Europe save by locking down

All those "experts" must be correct and they must be telling you the truth. That is your current belief system

Well, assuming the EU stays together, safe to say all of Italy's banks are now insolvent, you get to pay for that belief system now

Unlike Brexit or Climate Change, you get to pay for this in your life time and directly and well, pretty soon.

How many people did you save, and in what time frame?

Do you even know what the purpose of the lockdowns are? If it comes back next winter and kills the maybe 50 thousand old people you saved this time. Then the purpose of the lockdowns were what exactly?

....add to that all the misery, suffering, deaths associated with the economic fallout, the extra couple hundred million slipping into poverty just in Europe...do you think all those European health systems are going to be better funded next winter, not just in preparation for SARS 2, but for the flu?

 

Another thing, coming up to almost three weeks of Italy having more than 500 deaths a day. And they have been in lockdown for pretty much 6 weeks, 4 weeks from full lockdown, past the 5 to 12 days it takes for most to get over symptoms

Something just ain't adding up there. 610 deaths reported today, most of those would have been infected two weeks ago, two weeks into their full lockdown
