Yeah you totally called me on my bluff My criticisms of Islam come from my envy of their societal structure. Mainly how they lack a 19th amendment.
Do you still attempt to seperate your views on the religion Islam and its muslim followers? Even though most of your critical views on islam are based on the malpractices done by its followers?
Hey nothing wrong with a little criticism of oppressive religious and societal systems, when done in a nuanced manner But that's the problem with bringing things up in a flip, disingenuous way. People will question your motivations.
Don't worry. Nobody makes portable color TV sets with a handle on the top anymore. So a Burka isn't as practical for theft as it once may have been.
Now THAT is risky. Music shop people will kick your ass for that. Stealing a TV from target, they barely give chase.
I saw a case in a crime solving tv show where a guy stole 2 guitars like that under a trenchcoat. It was filmed on a security cam. Some people have a lot of guts, iron nerves and no conscience.
I don’t think humans are harming the planet in the long run. Nature is very resilient and always recovers. Examples: After the Chernobyl meltdown, nature is engulfing all the surrounding towns and is taking over what humanity conquered. When Mt. St. Helens erupted and destroyed miles of forest and vegetation. It desertified the whole area and scientists thought the area would be barren for 200 years. Today there are lots of young trees big enough that you can walk under for shade. Nature has returned. Nevertheless, we should not disregard short term anthropogenic environmental problems
Not that uncommon of a consideration. It gets controversial when one would use it as an excuse to not take max care and effort for the weak(er) and elderly.
I thought taking it under a trenchcoat was already daring (albeit granted: those were 2 rare guitars at once! One under each arm), but came across several vids of guys stealing one by stuffing it in their pants!
The means are there to help a lot of people. People who often paid a large part of their life into this system that made it possible in the first place. To now argue it is ok to let them go because of future economic pressure and 'because its essentially a natural occurence' or something, is beyond reason. It's really antisocial to seriously put it as if its ok to cut funds and means to helping old and weaker folks, mainly because it will be a terrible drain on the economy.
I have no idea how unpopular (or valid) that opinion is. Since you've lasted for 2 millennia already I'm skeptical!
there is nothing natural, nor even mythological, more dangerous, then a person who thinks its love to have logic, because they think its logical to hate (universal) consideration.
