Are you talking about the same elite Boris Johnson that was put into icu due to coronavirus, that elite?

  2. I'm talking about celebrities like Clinton and Trump who wouldn't eagerly sit down to dinner with any of us in a thousand years unless it was a publicity stunt.

  3. And yes, the joke's on them. But we shouldn't fight each other. It's not that hard to respect people.

We're all just vying for position, though. But like George Carlin said, we're just not part of the club. None of us are. And the way we try to gain superiority over our friends, neighbors, and even family is, quite frankly, pathetic.

  5. You may not realize this, but working class people like you and me fills that class of people with disgust. They don't know any better. We're just peons seeking an autograph.

  6. And yet, we'll turn against our brothers to promote one of them. This whole country is fubar. And it certainly isn't just the right. The level of disrespect that comes from the left is every bit as pathetic.

Do you actually want to have dinner with a senator a governor a president?
If so, how will it change the outcomes?

  8. I'd be glad to have dinner with anyone. I love people. But I don't love a president any more than a peasant, no. And I wouldn't be any more fascinated by him or her.

  9. Because I'm not trying to climb that ladder which doesn't reach the roof anyway.

Multimillionaire Bernie might have dinner with you. Try it, find out and get back to us. I'd say that Bernie, a 78-year-old who thinks he's going to usher in a Democratic Socialist revolution or make much of a dent in politics as usual, is delusional. He'd have to carry both houses of Congress as well, and that seems really unlikely. So far, Democrats don't seem to be rallying to his banner. This is Don Quixote.

  11. This isn't about me having dinner with anyone. The point is that the upper echelon are by and large condescending elitists.

Bernie not included. He has made a huge impact on what people in this country assume they're entitled to. Unfortunately, Americans are self-obsessed, so he can't win. They like the idea of a one percent and secretly hope to become the elite themselves. Vain, impossible, and pathetic as that is. Even the poor try to keep up appearances, and the middle class are snobs who, again, the true elite wouldn't have in their club in a million years.

It's all about keeping up appearances and getting a leg up on the working class who disgust the left. No one wants to be one of us losers.

I have been explaining disability insurance to stupid Republicans like you for years. It is insurance, get it? It is a contract between a working person and the government. It is also a government requirement, just like car insurance or worker compensation insurance. Oddly enough, these ignorant Republicans can't seem to absorb the facts: it is an insurance policy. In my own case, I worked for nearly 40 years and got hurt on the job and required surgery. Also when on the job, I was bitten by a Central American insect known as the kissing bug, because it bites people on the face. The sickness from that bug attacks the heart, the colon, and the upper digestive system. After I got sick and had surgeries, I decided to claim my rights under the disability insurance, which the government had required me to pay into for decades. My lawyer said disability insurance is a contract between the government and the working person. It is just a simple contract. And like all contracts, it is enforceable. Disability insurance is not welfare. It is a contractual right. The right to make and enforce contracts is found in the main body of the United States Constitution. It is truly odd that not one single Republican jackass has been able to read it. So, I knew that many of these ignorant Republicans would be pissed off and think that it is them who pay for it or that it is some sort of welfare; but, I went ahead and took my benefits, which come from a government program which I paid into for decades. Now these ignorant Republicans can work and whine. I'm going to take my contractual benefits and go on vacation. Missoula Montana is just beautiful in the spring. Maybe some day ignorant Republicans will just go away, like Trump's Chinese virus?

That is an argument. Biden has demonstrated a higher level of morality than Trump. Biden has lived by our laws and demonstrated compassion for minorities. Biden has demonstrated a sense for environmental ethics. And that is something I like. However, I don't care for his foreign policy, but that can change. If he takes on Elizabeth Warren for VP, I would be delighted. She would go after corporate corruption big time. If he takes on Stacy Abrams, she would trash the fuck out of Trump's VP during a TV debate. I would throw a big party that night. It would be FUN!

If Republicans want to do something for their community why don't they start paying taxes? Tell your pal Trump to release his tax and business records to congress. Why all the secrecy when it comes to your turn for paying taxes?
