Well, you dont really need to film the hospitals. Italy, 16,523 dead / 61 million is still only 0.027% of the population

And US, seasonal flu death estimates a year are 20,000 to 60000 over 5 months October to April. Which looks like this



Media have done all that, just that 700 deaths a day / 300 hospitals in Italy, ....even 10 dying per day in a hospital in Lombardy over a 24 hr period, doesnt look all that dramatic



As for estimates/ modelling. Wuhan is miles and miles of 30,40 story apartment blocks all squished in together, in the height of their winter. The eggheads just took the numbers at the steepest part of their curve and applied that to the whole of the US

The media is just not doing their job at all. 2.2 million was never going to happen. Theres just no one in the media saying, hang on a minute, why isnt LA going the same way as NY? How the hell was it ever going to spread the same way in some buttwipe county in Kentucky as it did in a city like Wuhan

Hell even China didnt lock down the rest of Hubei province like it did Wuhan
