It's a sad state of affair when we need special classes to tell us this stuff.

Ethics is part of every day normal training for military, whether it be with a Government Purchase Card or in this case the FEMA. Ethics plays a big part in everything that we do, so of course we have to make sure it is included in our training.

I posted this not to show that it was in our training but rather to emphasize the difference between what FEMA requires from an ethical standpoint versus our leadership in action. You make the comparison and come up with your own conclusions. I have made mine.

Integrity place a big factor in who I am and it is the yardstick I use to measure others.

lol. THat doesn’t even list hispanic. Lol. It simply calls Hispanic people white, lol. Being white does not mean American, being white does not mean, not hispanic. Lol

do you check your own stats?
    • White: 74.50%
    • Native American: 9.55%
    • Other race: 9.09%
    • Two or more races: 3.23%
    • Black or African American: 2.06%
    • Asian: 1.51%
    • Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander: 0.07%

Right church, wrong pew. The tribes you mentioned are mostly from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas. You got the Apache right. The other native tribes of New Mexico would include Comanche, Navajo, Ute, Zuni, Keres and Tewa/Tiwa-speaking Pueblo, and the now extinct Manso, Suma, Jano, and Jocome.

lol yourself. The U.S. Census doesn't consider Hispanic a race, as I mentioned, and does indeed list them as white. I just filled out the census form, so I should know. The 49.1% figure was from the same source, different line. I'm sure this will be a mental strain for you, but if you read my link and stats carefully, you'd understand this. It says:"Hispanics may be of any race, so also are included in applicable race categories." If you don't like it, take it up with the Census Bureau.

the point was, hispanic, Spanish people were not original people, so who exactly has the rights? :) And I said, and more. But if they were in texas, you do not think they went to New Mexico, crossed the invisible line? Navajo, acoma and apache is mostly attributed to New Mexico, but all those I mentioned were in Texas. Most likely in New Mexico too.

    This was from flagme15s source:
    • White: 74.50%
    • Native American: 9.55%
    • Other race: 9.09%
    • Two or more races: 3.23%
    • Black or African American: 2.06%
    • Asian: 1.51%
    • Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander: 0.07%

    • my source above it gives hispanic population from census 2016. Your attempts at being a smart ass are failing.

    • exactly, hispanic doesn’t specify skin colour ethnicity, people identified on the census on reports. They fill it out. I doubt someone who isn’t, say they are from China or Russia would put themselves down as hispanic.

They've been talking on the Hill for awhile now about another aid roll-out. But today I read that the talks are actually gaining traction. It looks like there may be another round of bailout checks, as well as more money for unemployment and small businesses.

I think that's fantastic; I really do! But I have one important question: 1) What happens to the GDP when bailout checks are spent before the economy re-opens or rather before social distancing, stay at home orders, or shelter-in-place are over? I feel like non-essential businesses like dine-in restaurants and retail clothing stores will miss out on the benefit of individuals receiving bailout checks because they won't be allowed to open their doors.

Interesting. Another good question is: should taxes go up to accommodate the higher unemployment payouts and other features of the legislation? I have a hope that all this could be the beginning of a restructuring of sorts; one that could end up providing better benefits to the common man, small businesses, or entrepreneurs.

It also makes the President look jolly and benevolent like Santa Claus doling out rescue packages left and right. I'm still never voting for him, and I'm hoping for him to lose by a significant enough margin to avoid comment to the press that his position in the minds of American voters was anything that could possibly be interpreted as strong moral standing.

Here is a link to what I read: Worried that $2 trillion law wasn’t enough, Trump and congressional leaders converge on need for new coronavirus economic package

Not while this is going on. No way, imo. There's a dance taking place here, a dance on a very thin rope. The goal is not to fall off.

‘Donald Trump Has Blood On His Hands’: NYC Official Lashes Out After Mother's Death
New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer rips the president's response to the coronavirus pandemic.

New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer says President Donald Trump has “blood on his hands” after he lost his mother to the COVID-19 coronavirus infection.

Arlene Stringer-Cuevas, a teacher who served on the New York City Council in the 1970s, died Friday at the age of 86.

In a CNN interview, Stringer eulogised his “extraordinary” mother as a “New York original” who loved her city.

Then he pointed the finger at Trump for his administration’s failures on addressing the pandemic.

“In New York City, this is playing out in so many families, and I’ve got to tell you, Donald Trump has blood on his hands and he has my mom’s blood on his hands,” Stringer told Anderson Cooper, saying the government is supposed to be able to protect the people:

New York is one of the epicentres of the outbreak, with more than120,000 in the state testing positive, 16,000 in hospitals and nearly 5,000 dead ― with nearly half of the fatalities in New York City, according to the latest numbers in The New York Times.

Despite the grim numbers, Governor Andrew Cuomo on Monday said there were signs the figures are starting to stabilise ― but he warned residents to keep at home to stem the spread of the virus.
