Seriously though, Adams is exactly the guy you want in that seat at this moment. Look at his education, it's perfect for the role at this time. Not only his disease work (In Zimbabwe), but also as an anesthesiologist. So he knows all about ventilators, intimately.

And this is something to consider in any discussion of hiring the most "qualified" person for the job. Adams was nominated by Trump at the behest of Mike Pence--maybe not the best choice, but he could be much, much worse. (Think Ben Carson!) If we were really concerned about that, we'd do something about these patronage appointments.
