I'd think it's the result of living under a local government that is accustomed to lying to the public and getting away with it (as long as it fits a certain narrative). So in their case avoiding the label of "racism" is far more important than preventing an epidemic. Because people who are used as tools are eventually discarded like tools.

 

i am simply saying it is plausible with the divisive politics at play that stockpiling was done and not replenished where it should have been. But stockpiles were available elsewhere.Not that they spread it, but did possible contribute to the spread with the sanctuary cities without consideration for all the people or any of them

I agree, it's not a liberal conspiracy to unleash it. It's a vast liberal expression of apathy that's encouraging it to spread, but not specifically because they want it to spread. They simply are not taking it seriously enough and wasting time looking for all the "racial" angles they can dig up.

And that's not just in the US, Italy is fucked because of this kind of thinking by the national government. The local governments are in shock and doing their best to keep everyone from congregating. Pleading with them to stay home. It's a huge mess there because someone was more worried about the "racist" impact on Chinese people vacationing (and spending money) in Italy than the health of the Italian people who are stuck with this.

For the record, Obama accomplished something I was worried about. He completely sidelined the Clintons, forever. Hillary was far more qualified, on paper anyway. And she had more experience. But, she couldn't stand up to a popularity contest. AND she couldn't learn from this. So she was easily trounced by Trump who won under the rules of the system both had to play by. In this matter I think my vote for Obama, a rookie impostor, accomplished more than I could have hoped for.

 

For the record, I am not a conspiracy theorists, everyone knew a pandemic was possible. Mask replenishing should have been a priority. Sometimes it feels like the powers that be wants everything to fall apart. No concern for the people at all. Just about making the opposition look bad and coming out looking clean, the winner. I think they would do just about anything to accomplish this, it doesn’t matter who suffers, The people don’t matter in politics, especially on the left in Canada. We are nothing according to the left here. I just don’t agree with this. I am something, we are something as individuals.

 

Yea, but most of them stay within the rules, by a razor's edge. While I think it's unsavory to use a disease against people, it's been done for most of human history. It usually backfires and consumes the arrogant king who dared to employ it, so it's not a popular option. But its really really convenient too, so it's only a matter of time before some genius figures out that they'll somehow beat it.

In this case I don't think it was an overt act on the part of the Chinese. I think it was initially an act of incompetence. Someone who was encouraged to do nothing more or less than their job, under pain of death, didn't warn anyone of a breech. Doctors had to discover it, which is always too late. If the Chinese had planned this as an attack, they'd have infected a few hundred people and ferried them to the biggest cities they hoped to victimize, all at once (or maybe in 2 waves several weeks apart).

They could have wiped out the US in a few months with this kind of sleeper virus. But most biological weapons are deployed for rapid effect to disable troops. A bio-weapon that can take 2 weeks to incubate while still being contagious, is a potential continental-scale killer.

 

It has been a a headache fuck in Canada, by the left.

 

i agree, I don’t think it was overt either, But it has accomplished something. A failing economy under the opposition, who said it would be great.. Who will be blamed in a year? Why wasn’t it replenished, who is responsible? Can’t go after Obama now... I guess time will tell.

I envy you guys for there being the ability to hold a government responsible and don’t as well. Don’t because of how it has been abused. Are people now wishing the impeachment hearing go away, stop? plus I see so many similarities between Pierre Trudeau and Obama tactics, which is frightening. Not something the left or right wants when all is said and done.

Hilary would have never gotten my vote if I was in the USA. not because she is left, but because she is weak imo. A weak lying sack of shit, a poor rep for women. So, I see a lot of stupidity on the left who voted for her. People who didn’t and went right were the smart ones. Women who voted for her, anyone who voted for her were not too bright.

Except you have taken the bait. For all you claim to be neutral many people including me here can see you for what you are. Your opinions are right wing. You are Republican. Part of the views in that is to think you are too smart for it all. Everyone lies and you know what's the acceptable and what's the wrong lie.

That's why you defend Trump all the time. Like many of his voters you admit he lies but he does it in the right way and everyone does anyway. Only Republicans say that. There is no neutral voter in America anymore. If you were like that you would not post the things you have. You picked a team and you even when confronted with evidence that team lies to you you would rather say they had to lie to out lie the other guy. That's a sad view.

Nope, I never have. I don't vote strictly on party lines or I would not have voted for Obama. But he was the only logical choice at the time because I wasn't going to cast for McCain by any means. And I was more than happy to see Obama crush the infamous "Clinton Machine" once and for all. Just as I was happy to see Trump make fools of the Bush clan.
