You said the U.N. is spending $7.8 billion for peach keeping missions. That's a lot of peaches. Where are they keeping them? I thought maybe if they switched to another fruit, they could lower the cost. Eight out of 62 fresh and processed fruits cost less than 40 cents per cup equivalent in 2016. Fresh whole watermelon, at 20 cents per cup equivalent, were the lowest priced fruits. I said "let them eat apricots" but maybe they should be eating watermelon instead!

Weeeellll I’m not the one who equates government help with socialism. That’s you. I’m just curious why you’re ok with it in some instances and not others.

As I said, charity is not enough. That’s why we have government programs.

Speaking of Medicare, and the right "taking it all away" Trump promises cuts to Medicare after re-election... Social Security too.

And no Medicare is not exclusive to old people. It is also given to those younger who have a disability. There is a list, and tbh, I get confused with Medicaid and Medicare, But I do know that people under the age of 65 are eligible for it with a list of disabilities, they are considered retired.

Medicare is for retirees aged 65 or older.
You cannot continue your private insurance when you lose your job.

Fact is both the ”right” and ”left” have instituted government programs. A lot of them.
They are all ok because they already exist? Well that seems kind of silly and defeatist. I mean in the US slavery and Jim Crowe were in place, should they have been left as rule of law?

so you think all you make goes to the government from Jan. - august 27 is ok and to have a government that that isn’t held accountable? No way to out a government here. You think this is freedom?
