I’d rather see Sanders up on stage with Trump as well.

Not because I think he has less chances of defeating Trump (in fact I think he has better odds than Biden).

I would rather see his democratic socialist ideas get trounced in a major election, thereby causing it to lose momentum and popularity into the future.

But instead, with Bernie having the deck stacked against him by his own party, his ideas will have a longer lasting legacy.

 

The audacity of thinking those "democratic socialist" ideas would actually be rejected during an election held in the aftermath of a worldwide pandemic and pending economic collapse.
