It was twenty bucks, I've played it before, and I didn't like the timer... We will see. I'm sure it's awesome but I won't be surprised if it takes me playing and failing to get the hang of it. I don't really like walkthroughs, so maybe I'll just do whatever I want until the world ends (the world ends in this game after 13 days or something).
I know... but I love this. It's something I am making myself do; which arguably is the antithesis of the entire point of gaming, as you point out. It defies logic, but alas I will find a way to enjoy it.
Generally dislike the timer thing too. If I recall right its what's turned me off Zelda: Majora's mask (world was about to end there too ). Which makes Ocarina of time the only Zelda game i played from start to finish
I may have finished the original. I'm sure I fought Gannon at some point; maybe it was on someone else's game though. I've played Ocarina on gamecube I think... Wasn't Majora's Mask 64? I doubt I played that one, but I did have a Nintendo 64 for a few weeks in 2011! lol I haven't actually started Lightning Returns yet... I'm planning on starting it today if I get bored. That's when I game most often. I think it's going to be okay. My strategy: ignore the sidequests and focus on the main quests without paying attention to the world clock!
They both were on N64, yes. Ocarina of time was the first 3d Zelda game and my first experience with Zelda. Blew me away at the time So the follow up, which was Majora's mask, thoroughly disappointed in that regard
I still consider buying a Switch just so I could try Breath of the Wild. Hard to ignore a game when people are calling it the "best of all time."
i've finished all the 2D ones multiple times (maybe only once for link to the past, just because i never owned a super NES). never been able to get into the 3D ones though.
My first 3d Zelda game was my first Zelda game. So it's actually the only one i played from start to finish
well I started my game. But the dumb thing decided to break down! I am currently re-downloading it (it's a download not a disc) and it will be done in 3 minutes. It froze a couple of times; in the pause menu twice, and twice in pre-game whilst selecting which saved game to play.
Damn, hope that was due to a temporary error! Why not from disc btw (shouldn't be the problem, just wondering)? I mostly buy digital/downloads if its a multiplayer game, or if its really dirt cheap in an offer. Most singleplayer games i share with friends (so it has to be on disc ), and I like that i don't have to get up and switch discs if I go from a singleplayer game to an online session with another game :-D (+ no disc makes significantly less noise)
This game has a clock. two quests going at once... have to be two places with little time to spare in between. 1) Find the Code Written on the Walls in Luxerion - Day 2 from 6 AM - 12 AM 2) Sneak into the Palace in Yusnaan - Day 2 @ 6PM ... As one may ascertain, 6 PM is between 6 AM and 12 AM. I need to finish finding the code in Luxerion then get over to Yusnaan. I can do it, it's just that it's not very linear...
Half Life Alyx. This is a breakthrough in the VR industry. I never expected such functionality from VR. It is very cool when you can take a Cup and throw it at someone while taking part in this activity yourself. It turns out that with the help of deep learning development company, any interested game developer can introduce VR into their game. This is very cool, as it is possible that a lot of games in VR will appear in a while.
