A spike in the number of positive Coronavirus tests is believed to be caused by Australians returning from overseas. Time for isolation camps for returning travellers?

 

Yeah, maybe in January woulda helped.

 

Could still be done! And imo a few wombats should be thrown in for punishment as well :-D

As I mentioned when I first started posting my state's number of cases, quite a few pages back, I am in no way trying to compare these numbers to what is happening elsewhere.

I'm posting them mostly as a marker for myself and I'm waiting for the spike... When/If it starts doubling or tripling in a 24 hour period.

So far there haven't been any in my county, but it has been surrounded, so it should happen soon.

 

The boomer remover is really active in Italy.
Sad though because these people are all somebodies parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters etc.

 

Not to mention being people.

 

Why do you want wombats to be punished?

 

"Italy: in the city of Bergamo, there were 108 more deaths in the first 15 days of March this year compared to 2019 (164 deaths in 2020 vs. 56 deaths in 2019) according to the mayor of the city Giorgio Gori. During this period, 31 deaths were attributed to the coronavirus (less than 30% of the additional deaths this year)

So they could be underreporting by as much as two thirds as well, not intentionally, just from being overwhelmed

 

That seems like a lot for a single day

 

Around 120 cases now in Oregon. May not sound like much but it has tripled in a week.
