What is sad that I had to go to three different stores today to find items on my normal shopping list. Not even taking into consideration of buying extra food. And there are items that I normally buy weekly that the shelves were bare with nothing on them. It is a shame that people have to hoard items just because they could and screw the next person that needs that item.

Of course it matters, here's a hypothetical scenario for you to hopefully illustrate. Let's say some isolated country had a total population of 1000 and say 500 of them died as where a country of 1 billion had 2000 people die. The latter country would have more deaths than the entire population of the former country but could be said to be handling the situation better because the former country lost half it's population as where the latter country lost significantly less than that.


I'm not saying that going by pure ratio at any given time is a way to determine what nations are handling this the best either, there appears to be a exponential spread rather than linear spread but I think we can glean some insight from that.
