Banks need to suspend mortgage / loan / credit card repayments etc to give people/ businesses a chance to avoid financial ruin once this is over.

Nursing / retirement homes should have been locked down ages ago. Close the borders worldwide. Re-evaluate where things are in 4-6 weeks.

 

If we all get sick with it, it’d be better if the we got sick in small numbers over a longer period of time. Rather than it spreading fast and incapacitating so many people at once like in Italy. Hospitals are overwhelmed and can’t treat everyone

 

I'm not suggesting anyone go squeeze on an elevator with anyone. But you're unlikely to catch it from someone breathing on you unless they're breathing spit or snot all over your face. You're more likely to catch it in that scenario by touching a button after an infected person touches it, and then not washing your hands and touching your face.
I am just saying, Soul shouldnt worry about it to the point where he's worried about jogging in the park. Everyone just needs to be sensible. Wash your hands after you touch anything in public that other people have touched or avoid it all together, and avoid crowds. And avoid human touch, we can all just become cold, robotic humanoids

 

The mistake they made in 2008 was everyone bailed out the shit banks as well, then spent the next decade realising that, still paying interest on those bailouts

And the main reason they did that is due to the fear of civil unrest

 

Went to the food store today to do my weekly shopping. The only thing that I can say is holy crap.. People were grabbing food items faster then the clerks could put them on the shelves. In the pasta aisle people were just taking the packages right out of the cases. Not even giving them a chance to put them on the shelves. The cashier was telling me that traffic in the store the last few days has been 4 times higher then normal. Forget about cleaners or wipes. The shelves are empty. Forget about thermometers. They were sold out in a day and have not been able to restock them again. It is really getting crazy. There were signs every where saying that you could only buy 3 of this item or that item. Frozen foods ? Good luck. And the government is saying to make sure that you have a 14 day supply on hand in case you have to quarantine. Well good luck with that ! And how are the people that are living pay check to pay check going to be able to buy 14 days of food at one time and keep up with all of there other bills they may have ? I fear this is only to get worst before it gets better. The only thing I will say is I have my 14 day supply of wine. ( or better ) LOL

 

At least next time this happens there will be plans in place on how to cope. The next global pandemic is going to go so smoothly.

Yeah. When I go home.. Sensible thing would be to be on the safe side, don't be too close to people. But haven't seen luv for months. Cuddles and kisses were kind of top of my priority list.

Kind of spooky that kids seem totally immune to getting seriously ill. Still not one single death of a child under 10 in the whole wide world as far as I know
