Hand sanitizer, not shaking hands is all going to be pretty useless

We are all going to have to face getting infected, dealing with it, building up immunity

 

Walmart has announced it will no longer be open 24 hours a day. I'm curious to see if there will be long lines of panicky people waiting for them to open each day.

A couple of our local Walmart’s close at 11pm and have done that for years.

 

Arrivals to Australia must self-isolate for 14 days.
LMAO. Just close the ports and airports. Show some leadership and do it.

 

What does that mean?

 

How is it going to be policed?
How are we going to ensure people stay in their hotel / Airbnb etc and self-isolate? Most ridiculous thing ever.

 

They won’t, I wouldn’t if I visited there. I don’t have that many days to waste

So Covid 19 is just a strain of SARS

Was officially designated the name SARS-CoV-2 a month ago , just that the media haven't been reporting that very well

 

I received a recording on Friday the 13th from the Canadian government, A recording in French and English telling me to not travel, etc...

any other Canadians receive such a call, or am I a target?

30 days and then review.
Most likely another 30 days after that though.

 

There are no experts on this thing, in the sense no one is sure 100% what the right thing to do is.

Say it spreads across Europe and Asia, which it already has. It spreads around, everybody there develops immunity. Countries like Aus and NZ try to keep it out, that doesn't happen here

Then we are just delaying the inevitable

Without calling in the army, just how long are we going to make people self isolate

We are never going to be sure if it's wiped out until most people in the world have been tested, and at the moment, that would require 5 billion test kits

Closing schools is the wrong thing to do

And I don't think it's possible shutting down airports for too long without it eventually causing riots and each government having to bail out every airline and every associated industry

No one seems to have worked out how much this is all going to cost and what that actually means in 6 months time

 

There's this one toy of mine, tastes much better with a rubber on it.
