If the Chinese government ever thought their population would be decimated by the coronavirus, they wouldn’t hesitate for one second to send emissaries (human bio-weapons) to infect us here in America.

But they created the virus to decimate the older population. It will become a brand new era for the Chinese. :)

I've got cold & flu medicine, soap and hand sanitizer, as well as rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide. Got some orange juice, chicken soup and vitamins. Plus enough TP to last awhile. And I've been getting some exercise lately, riding my bicycle around to help build up my immune system. Guess I'm as ready as I'm going to be.

Yea riding your bike around outside is a sure way to not get the virus.

  7. Being around a huge gathering means that you will get the sickness.
Not self isolating yourself will mean that you will get the virus.

  12. I took this directly from Harvard Health Publishing, Harvard Medical School *I included a link for you to look for yourselves, fear is the enemy, knowledge is power

    What is coronavirus?
Coronaviruses are an extremely common cause of colds and other upper respiratory infections. *basically the common cold

pandemic (a term indicating that it has affected a large population, region, country, or continent). *does not indicate severity of illness, just the spread of it

The flu kills more people than COVID-19, at least so far. Why are we so worried about COVID-19? Shouldn't we be more focused on preventing deaths from the flu?
You're right to be concerned about the flu. Fortunately, the same measures that help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus — frequent and thorough handwashing, not touching your face, coughing and sneezing into a tissue or your elbow, avoiding people who are sick, and staying away from people if you're sick — also help to protect against spread of the flu.
What are the symptoms of COVID-19?
Some people infected with the virus have no symptoms. When the virus does cause symptoms, common ones include low-grade fever, body aches, coughing, nasal congestion, runny nose, and sore throat. However, COVID-19 can occasionally cause more severe symptoms like high fever, severe cough, and shortness of breath, which often indicates pneumonia.
    How deadly is COVID-19?
The answer depends on whether you're looking at the fatality rate (the risk of death among those who are infected) or the total number of deaths. So far, influenza has caused far more deaths this flu season, both in the US and worldwide, than COVID-19. This is why you may have heard it said that the flu is a bigger threat.

Regarding the fatality rate, it appears that the risk of death with the pandemic coronavirus infection (commonly estimated at 3% to 4%) is less than it was for SARS (approximately 11%) and MERS (about 35%)

However, the numbers circulating right now for this new coronavirus are likely to be adjusted over time, as more people are tested and reporting becomes more consistent. For example, testing has been limited at the start of the outbreak, which could result in fewer identified cases, making it seem as though a larger percentage of infections are fatal. In fact, some recent estimates put the mortality rate of the new coronavirus closer to 1%.

Makes perfect sense when you look at the numbers.

I can't speak for New Zealand but here in America one experts is saying in six months we'll be looking at 400,000 dead.

There's no limits to human insanity. The stores here are packed with people freaking out. Like fucking worse than Christmas. I got Chinese takeout last night. I was half thinking I probably shouldn't. I was also wondering if they were starting to hurt for business. Holy FUCK, the place was packed! Line to get in, line at the buffet... People aren't scared of the actual virus at all. Apparently terrified of not feeding and wiping their fat asses!

I need to go to the store today and I really dont think there is going to be anything left. From reports I've been hearing from people on the ground (lol), the shelves are bare. Not just TP but food

I dunno what the fuck I'm supposed to eat this week. I've failed survival mode already :/
