I flew around in the the Piper Cherokee .. this airplane cost $87,000. The 182 is valued at $550,000 yeah half a million dollars.. I like the feeling of the 182. feels like your flying a Mitsubishi Zero but not actually .. 182 propeller is larger and 3blades where the others only have 2. Mitsubishi A6M Zero was also 700hp. 182 only has 250. sky conditions were just under the VFR but we got visibility at 10mi and low ceiling .. MVFR ill have to study up on that one, solo already but haven't celebrated with instructors and my plane family there. Its not a big deal .. I guess it is to some. Need to ready myself for verbal and check-ride. Ill do fine on ground but probably most likely fail for the first. like something stupid on a sectional chart and a symbol or all my mixed up log ..so Ive to stick to one aircraft for a while instead of low wing high wing and just flying for fun.

I looked for them today but I was in rush to get to airplane.. the candy store next to the dispensary.. I didn't see them to much hurry to ask.. Im going to take some vid in there next time.. willy Wonka plays on the tv forever.

 

Ah aight. There was a cool story about it on WHYY... Apparently the new owners only had the ingredients list and it took them some months to get it right... I think they were just doing trial and error. What choice did they have, I guess.

I had a milky way today to get me thru traffic in case was stuck no food. But I ate it with my coffee before we took off in the plane.

 

I wasn't able to register for the two pool championships because I got invited to a lawn bowls day and I'm not missing out on being able to dress up, get tanked and make a fool of myself, plus I figure when my eyes deteriorate lawn bowls is going to be my thing, so... I have just paid and registered for one of the comps in June.

 

I sort of have a deal with my aviation people.. I don't want to be all Instagramy and shit because they do post pictures of lot of people that go through their courses on Instagram and Facebook and I just ain't one of those people that what my real name out there in the world no matter what I have accomplished..
I won't make a bunch of pictures of your aircraft and stuff and you don't make a bunch of pictures of me..

 

My kendo classes have been canceled for at least the next 3 weeks due to coronavirus. That's kinda a bummer but ah well... shikata ga nai

My friends have decided to throw a coronavirus party. Life as we know it is kinda taking a break so we all have fewer responsibilities. Seems insensitive but no one knows what to do with all this free time. Meanwhile I'm nervous about being temporarily laid off. That would put me in a place I dont wanna be in. Oh well, got some wine, got some weed, if I have to hole up for a few weeks I'll be alright. Running a lil low on tp tho if I'm being honest
