Mike Bloomberg spent enough on his campaign to give every American $1 million..

That was reported by the MSNPC which explains a lot. Bunch of idiots

The population of America is 329 million

    500,000,000 / 329,000,000 = $1.51

    Thank you Department of Education

It happens. I'm sure many blacks supported Clinton (or Edwards) over Obama early 2016. Trudge on, it's over half-a-year until November.

    2. Biden said he was arrested with Mandela?
    3. trench warfare?
    4. "Biden is not going to beat Trump": I agree with that.
    5. But I'm not sure Bernie will win the primary.

A 5 gallon paint bucket inside the house ain't indoor plumbin'(just joking with you).
However, I find nuclear power regressive.

The reason that I have in my head for actually wanting nuclear energy is … backward.

I don't like it on its face, but I know that in ways that may be difficult to understand, the establishment accepts that (nuclear...) more so than they do solar and wind or other green energy. They don't seem to like the wind and sun approach very much. They want to use the nuclear. And it's cleaner than coal and gas. Its carbon footprint is healthy; though nuclear waste is toxic and you have to store it.

yes you do have to store it , under water with armed guards to keep it out of the hands of terrorists. the nuke plants are overloaded, trying to output many more gigawatts than they were designed for. so, that means many more refuelings and all the dangers that go with it

I agree, the toxicity, and storage factor is a no go for me. I prefer localized solar(rooftop), and not solar farms, and then wind power.

  13. Nuclear power starts as a mining operation. It averages 0.15% of the material that must be dug up to get it. Open pit mining is preferred, but it vents some of the ore into the air. If it's deep, they dig it in a manner similar to coal.

The most objectionable way to mine it is to leech it out with sulfuric acid. Not a good thing for the water table. And then there's all those vehicles used to move the stuff for processing.

Reducing electric demand is one of the few ways people can control this. As the population grows, so does the demand for power.

I do believe it is the cleanest and most efficient form of power we've got. We also should start using methane as a power source but like nuclear energy, methane has become vilified through misunderstanding

  15. Cenk is absolutely right, IMO. Biden will lose to Trump. I'm not sure if the establishment doesn't see that or if it's that they just prefer Trump to a "radical left progressive." I mean, most of their efforts in life have gone towards being a class above the little guy. Trump certainly doesn't endanger that. But I'm sure the prospect of having to answer to Bernie Sanders fills them with disgust.

I think it's the calculation that Bernie would lose bigger, and take a lot of congressional seats with him.

It's really a big chess game isnt it? And if we the people are lucky we get to move 1 pawn. Its gonna take a lot for me to get interested in politics again. I mean what's the point?
