Well anyone who has had even a beginning course in chemistry and physics knows that the concern about warming of the atmosphere is a very real threat and it’s progress is born out by time series climate data. It is NOT a political issue in spite of what the crackpots in the White House claim. You are right, the correct term is global warming not “climate change”. Climate scientists have no financial incentive to share the results of their research, fossil fuel goons and their goons do have an incentive to lie and tell everyone everything’s fine.

 

Climate Change is more weather patterns that we can't control.
Global Warming is something we can control.

Some places in Australia last year had experience 50*C which is hot. They tried frying an egg on the road.
It worked.

It tells us how hot some of the roads are in Australia.

It tells us how hot the land is when you don't do anything to it.

Try this at home.
Let your lawn in the back grow.
Check the temperature of the lawn when it is hot.
Grab a hose and water your lawn. If you have no hose take a pee on the lawn.
Then check the temperature of it.

See if it is cooler.

Then try and do stuff to keep your house free from fires.

i've met a lot of people like that. seems stupid to me, i'd rather just shit wherever i am when i have to shit.

 

i find it amusing when people get so obstinate over people using words and vocabulary they dont like. I have found that those who cant hand rough language in comm parlance to be a bit dull, self righteous and full of themselves. Just my opinion for what it is worth
