    Professional wrestling hadn't been legit since the 1920s, so who cares about them?

    Mack Beggs is an amateur female taking testosterone and then wrestling against other females. S(he) wants to wrestle against males but the Texas rules don't allow it. Testosterone increases muscle mass, bone density, and aggression, among other things. This would seem to be an unfair advantage for Mack wrestling against females. Similar to taking steroids. On the other hand wrestling against males might cause Mack harm...see below.

    Transgender people in high school and college athletics is problematic in my opinion depending on the sport. I see no problem with transgender participants on a rifle team, but something like wrestling or football can be a huge problem.
    If a transgender female (female to male) wishes to wrestle against males s(he) may be at a disadvantage due to muscle mass etc.
    In wrestling total body strength is involved. Women lack upper body strength and are more susceptible to rotator cup injuries. Males also have longer and larger bones allowing for greater mechanical advantage and larger anchoring points for muscles and ligaments, highly important in wrestling which has many moves based on leverage.
    Males have greater muscle mass to body weight, wrestling is based on weight classes, so a male will have more muscle than a female of the same weight.

    Women do have an advantage in balance due to wider hips and in endurance because they are more efficient converting glycogen to energy. Long distance endurance has little value in a wrestling match as they only last for a few minutes. Amateur wwrestlers are sprinters as they are not allowed to loaf during matches and no one can perform at a wrestlers' pace for very long.

    Considering all this I can't see many females converting to a male offering serious competition to a male, some may but not many. I see more chance for them to be injured.
    Conversely, a male changing to a female would generally have an advantage over females, possibly leading to injuries of the "normal" female participant.

    A conundrum indeed.
    Then we have the problem with cyborgs.
    Shall we allow these people on high school teams?

    What is stopping a person from claiming to be transgender simply to compete against the opposite sex? A test can determine male or female. How can you tell if a person is trans?

    A more significant question is this: what is stopping men from claiming to be trans just to get inside the women's restroom? If HF's Love And Sex section has taught us anything it is that there are some sick people that get off in weird ways. Would it bother any of you ladies to be sitting in the stall next to a guy who is whacking off?

I've gotten over the male/female bathroom a bit you know, after getting to know some MtF folks I kinda felt a bit bad, not my wife though she's way more open about things than me but she doesn't really like it still and I don't badger her about it because I ain't anyone to tell anyone how they should feel about things, and so I expect the same but that doesn't happen because the moment you raise your eyes to something you don't agree with your instantly a piece of racist gutter homophobic trash.

    I know some folks like to have kinky public bathroom sex too, and I don't know how I feel about 2 MtF fucking each other in the cube next to me either. I mean it has to happen frequently enough I read about it on the internet all the time.     But you know it's not trans related but I play men in pool all the time and I feel like they get the shits when they lose to a female. I much prefer playing men for this pressure sense, I actually faulted against females much more easily as if I'm intimidated by them, but I feel like I intimidate the men more lol.

    I could see me playing a sport umm hell I'll wrestle even if I could and if I had to go up against a trans my attitude would be I gotta gotta work my ass to beat this person and when I do I'll feel 200% cause I just knocked down someone physically more better than me. Yeah, fuck yeah. Bring it on I say.

    Of course. But that's not the issue here. I cant really imagine someone going through the whole process of transitioning to another gender because they get off being in a womans bathroom. Also, I think trans people have to go through this whole interview process involving their doctor as well as mental health professionals. The misconception is that they wake up and go, fuck it imma be a woman today, when that's not really how it works

    Regarding Oscar Pistorius, there was a lot of controversy surrounding those carbon-fiber prosthetic blades as to whether they gave him an advantage over the other runners, but that question was never resolved.

    btw: the convicted murder is now teaching bible classes in prison and is eligible for parole in 2023

    As tumbling pointed out though, some dudes get off on some pretty weird things

    Sure, not all, not most

    But there are going to be some bad apples

    I don't think it that much of a stretch to think some will transition so they can get, or think they can get closer to younger females.

    Interview process is mainly about surgery, judgement on prescribing hormones a lot less strict

    Ones like that Jessica Yaniv character, becomes obvious after a while its a little too much about interacting with underage girls
