Barr created an outside team that has been secretly tearing apart Stone and Flynn cases for weeks

    excerpt:

"Seen in this light, the resignation of the four prosecutors on the Roger Stone case wasn’t a snap response to a single instance of Barr overruling their decisions. It was the endgame following weeks in which the entire U.S. attorney’s office in Washington was subject to badgering from a team of hand-selected political hit men, brought in to second-guess every action and undermine each decision. As the Times article puts it, these actions mean subjecting the office to “a secondary layer of monitoring and control over what career prosecutors have been doing.”

Over the last week, Trump has tweeted attacks on the prosecuting attorneys who set the sentencing recommendation for Roger Stone. He’s challenged the impartiality of the judge in charge of the case. He has even gone after the jury foreman with charges of bias.

But Trump’s tweets were not happening in a vacuum. In fact, they weren’t even coming first. Barr had placed his review team over the Washington office before Trump began his series of 280-character tirades against everyone involved in the Stone trial. Barr’s blathering on about how he was tired of Trump telling him what to do wasn’t just deceptive—it was a reversal of the truth. Barr was already tearing into those cases. Undoubtedly, Trump was aware of what Barr was doing to rip up the paperwork on Flynn and Stone when he issued his tweets."

Barr is in on Trump's acts that will cause more problems that Barr will have to fix, like a dog chasing its tail. It's not surprising that Barr is frustrated.

Numerous other Trump officials have been in a similar situation and were fired by Trump or resigned in frustration.

Comment by a blogger about Flynn:

"He stood up in open court and freely plead guilty. The judge asked him over and over in a variety of ways ---in a process called allocution--- if he was pleading guilty because he is guilty, if he was doing it freely, and a whole bunch of related questions to give him every opportunity to withdraw.

    He is guilty.

Barr using some other prosecutor in what will be an attempt to smear Flynn's prosecutors or Stone's prosecutors won't make either of them any less guilty.

Best part-- even if Trump pardons them they are still guilty."

Trump, Barr Fuel DOJ Turmoil Over Cases Tied to White House

Trump, Barr Fuel DOJ Turmoil Over Cases Tied to White House

    excerpt:

"Critics, including former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, who was fired by Trump weeks into his presidency, said the department’s reputation for independence built on the ashes of the Watergate scandal in the 1970s was being demolished.

“The Justice Department is not a tool of any president to be used for retribution or camouflage,” Yates wrote Friday in the Washington Post. “From virtually the moment he took office, President Trump has attempted to use the Justice Department as a cudgel against his enemies and as a shield for himself and his allies.”

Adding to the week’s controversies -- and confusion -- Barr issued a rare public rebuke of Trump on Thursday over the president’s constant tweets and comments about Justice Department cases, saying he can’t perform his duties if he appears to be politically influenced."

"Soon after taking office last year, Barr established himself as one of Trump’s most loyal Cabinet aides. He returned to the Justice Department after having been attorney general under President George H.W. Bush almost three decades ago. Long known as an advocate of executive power, Barr had helped sink criminal prosecutions in the Iran-Contra affair by successfully advocating for Bush to issue a wave of pardons before leaving office."

Trump has commonality with Nixon in that both were causing themselves problems with impeachable or criminal activities and later tried to fix those problems with more criminal activities. Nixon tried to cover up the Watergate debacle with a scheme to funnel hush money to those who knew about Watergate, similar to Trump's Stormy Daniels clandestine hush money payments through his conduit, Cohen. Nixon tried to keep Watergate recordings secret and appealed decisions against him all the way to the Supeme Court where he lost, similar to Trump not releasing his tax returns that are involved in a criminal investigation against him related to Trump's Stormy Daniels hush money payments, a case that will be heard by the Supreme Court.

One illegal activity leads to another to try to fix the previous ones.

Nixon kept digging himself a deeper hole that ultimately forced him to resign.

You cant have it both ways. Either Trump is a moron or he isnt. If he is, then he is open to get manipulated by the Conservatives around him

Then if you go 3+ years misreading that, on the moron front, what does that make you?

  13. You can be a moron and a manipulator, especially if those that swoon over you are the biggest morons on Earth.

Well, he did violate America's laws, did take money from Russia and Turkey, and did plead guilty. The FBI and Mueller investigations were about Trump's collusion with Russia. One day after he fired Jim Comey, Trump invited the Russian heavies to the White House and told them he was relieved that Comey was gone. During that meeting he did not allow American media, but allow Russian news people. Adam Schiff has not forgotten any of the details.

He doesnt directly answer, but if I say something that doesnt dig deep, he will post just one related article (usually up to three years old) If I say something that does hit a bone, we all get 5 posts in a row on the same subject, like above

    You never noticed that?
