They did. I think a kitchen fire????

 

I have an integrated fire alarm system spread over the four flats in this house. The problem is the kitchen in the top flat was built inside an alcove and there is no direct access to fresh air, secondly the people who are there (post-grad students) are not that good at cooking and manage to trigger the alarms at reasonably frequent intervals.

 

That would drive me crazy.

I have experienced one years back.
The stupid guys put a paper flour sack on s flame the crikey!!!!!

 

I made the mistake of not checking the broiler to make sure it was clean. Grease everywhere. i turned it on high and it ignited. Burned myself more times than I can count too
