Or I guess this is just going to be the gmo thread now. Cool My biggest problem with them is the fact that crops are specifically modified to withstand very heavy duty pesticides/herbicides without dying. And then humans consume said pesticides/herbicides And also large factory GMO crops lead to a smaller variety of crops. Which in turn affects the bee population because they're eating (I dunno if eating is the right word) just one crop rather than a variety in their diet
Oh. The Farmer Assurance Provision... Lol. I thought it was literally called that so I checked. Made me look! Incidentally, I can't find the said provision in my Policy book...
You need to understand what it is you are actually saying there champ. You are being racist due to somebody's nationality and somebody's religious beliefs, cultural differences and other things they do. It doesn't matter if you drink soy milk. It's what you come up with on an internet forum about others is what you need to be careful with. You don't want to deliberately offend people mate.
You need to understand that none of that has anything to do with racism. And that race is different from culture, norms, value, and tradition. You don’t want to be calling someone a racist in the same context as calling calling someone a jerk.
I didn't. I said Asians eat more soy than other races and that your "soyboy" statement reinforces the negative stereotype that Asian men are less masculine. What you said was inadvertently racist. I dont think you meant it to be racist. I dont think the race aspect ever occured to you. So yeah... never said you were racist dude
you are in Australia, right? Why would your uni be so concerned about what is going on in the USA? One would think the water shortage, the feral camels being killed to preserve water and the fires going on would be more of a concern. Or concern about sexual assaults, murders, immigration in your own country,
I wonder that too, why the land of down under try to be so involved in what is going on here ? there are rumours of the hildebeast and the Manchurian running around , doing what ? time will tell.
^ You guys are never involved in discussions about world affairs? World politics? World events? Beach Ball, you've made comments on both Trump and Trudeau. So you're discussing things outside of your country. Why shouldn't a university in Australia? Not all countries are like the US. Sometimes people pay attention to things that happen in other countries. Some are even *gasp* bilingual
There is a big difference between Australia and the USA. Vs. Canada and the USA. Canada’s politics have been used for ages as an example of what not to be as well as working together. Your politics over flow across the border and the other way around. Especially with free trade agreements between our borders that have been going on for a long time and the friendly way in which we interact. Although with the trudeau family Americans have been promoted as an enemy. You realize that prior to 2001 we did not need a passport to cross into the USA and visa versa. That changed with the towers going down, and rightfully so. Considering some of those involved were living in my city.
Gay was perhaps the wrong term. It's a word that was used against men who does things 6 does not agree with when I was a kid. Do you like to bake? That is gay. Did you cry? What a fag a man would not do that. I played football and hockey I am very familer with this sort of male. It's a constant pissing contest to show other men you are men and this is a topic he has show tremendous interest in. You will notice he has doubled down on the junk science of soy for this reason. His view is that since soy stops the production of testosterone (it does not) it means a man is a not a man. There are dozens of memes like the one he posted where the joke is this idea. We the right man are doing real manly things and this baker is not. For example this is why the right wing has such an issue with vegetarians to name an issue outside this meme. You need meat to prove you a man and keep your man juices flowing. It's feminine to worry about the lives of animals and ruin your own health with a poor diet. Women have feelings and they are ruled by them. Men see facts and naturally are conservative. I see you were not able to answer my question. So there is no other joke than masculinity right? It's funny since he is feminine. In my day a feminine man was called gay and with all the homophobia on the right wing I think they still feel this way. I wore make up in high school since I was a goth. I had a girlfriend at the time who wore even more that people saw. I was still "gay" to my peers. It's a certain mindset. They can't really say being gay itself is wrong but behavior they associate with it can be.
it has nothing to do with muslims, just that event highlighted why the border needed to be tightened up. Canada dropped the ball and has allowed people in who were known to have committed terrorists acts elsewhere prior, which posed a threat to people from many different backgrounds to die. it is my country, not yours. What do you want me to refer to it as? Your country? Or do you want me to call it this land? My is belonging to or associated with the speaker. My country is associated with me, not you. You do not live here, nor are you a citizen. It belongs to Canadians, it belongs to Aboriginals, natives. This is not you.
^. Continue, you continually show your ignorance and hatred. Did you ever get around to writing your congressman?
When someone has direct family members who are Canadian, they could claim Canadian citizenship if they so wish. After 5 years I could convert my Social Security to Canadian Old Age Pension. My X fiancé is a Metis Woman from Winnipeg. She now lives in Calgary. I know all about Canada and its laws. I have lots of direct relatives in Mississauga, Ottawa, and Montreal. Back in the 1970s I dated women from Milton and Montreal. I came close to buying a home in Gravenhurst. I like Canada. I like Canadian women. At this point in my life, I'm thinking about moving to a warmer place, maybe southern New Mexico or Arizona.
your ex being Metis does not make you status aboriginal, status native as you have claimed to be native, which you are not. Nor does it make her. Métis did not sign treaties with the exception of one which is very limited and specific to some. Métis are Non status! I have found your comments highly offensive as well as ripe with bigotry. You have used native people to validate yourself, yes! MY people as a crutch, not your people. I am not your crutch, they are not your crutch. and I never use this as a crutch, what gives you the right?
I never claimed to be Native. You have never provided evidence of such claim. You have badmouthed my statement about Muslims in American Slavery. There are plenty of articles on Google concerning the subject. This Muslim person was held in slavery I Mississippi for 40 years. Here is a document about him:
