Anyways considering they've both referenced studies on the costs and provided outlines for how it will be funded, and considering they're asked about it at every single debate, I think they're aware it isnt free and are aware their supporters are also aware.

 

Something is wrong in this fairy tale. (1) Canada has a better system and will provide emergency treatment immediately. (2) Th person in this case should have been put on Medicaide not Medicare. (3) Medicare becomes effective/active two years after you sign up for it and get awarded the benefits.

No, leaving healthcare to the "free market" despite the fact that healthcare doesnt function properly on the free market because medical providers and prescription drug companies can charge whatever the fuck they want, is pure evil. Denying care to people who cant afford it is pure evil. Putting a profit motivation into something people need to live is pure evil. Charging a 600% mark up on medications is pure evil. Putting a middleman into the equation purely for profit is pure evil.

Also, the US has long ER wait times too. I know this because I've suffered in the ER for hours. And last year I had to watch my mom suffer in the ER for hours for what turned out to be something life threatening.

My son also had to wait 4 months to see a specialist once for an urgent issue.
It's a myth that the US doesnt have issues with wait times.
