I asked that same question. If the entered the country illegally, send them to court, fine them. then you can send them back or accept them as refugees. But to hold them in indefinite detention is immoral. Here in America we have an administration which does these immoral treatments to refugees from Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico. Here in America the Trump administration even separates Hispanic families … separates toddlers from mothers. Have you ever heard of such cruelty?
