Ok Just to be clear (as you hint at me being unfriendly and going ad hominem with jabs several times recently): I'm not being unfriendly. Just bluntly direct and critical of certain bullshit.
No, they don't. Or none of them would have a chance politically. Instead, the days of holding pride in military accomplishments are basically over in the US. Every conflict we're involved in has no clear objectives and no actual plan for success. It's hard for even a veteran to respect what's going on with our military.
Thanks for explaining. So its a slap in the face to the US who's notorious for their double agenda in that region. Iraq simply has a weak government and a lot of serious national concerns (extremism and terrorists being only two of them). A significant amount of iraqi citizens finds that just as frustrating and unfortunate as you and me (well, i think even more as they live there). At this point they need help with those ridicilously crippling threats. Considering Iraq is primarily Sunni and Iran Shia, and the problems that has caused over the years, I don't see them teaming up against such threats that negative. What is your biggest concern here?
Oh, and then there's that small difference that nobody in Obama's administration was indicted on criminal charges..
I'm sorry your perception is so selective and limited. Stupid claims get such reactions, sometimes also from you. So, nice try but no cookie.
It's a bogus argument and he knows it. edit: i can't even see the line where i called her stupid anymore. Did it got edited by a mod? That would be ludicrous as more offensive stuff gets said regularly on here, even by certain mods, and tolerated.
By blindly, I mean that we are all subjected to our governments media and privately independent investigated "stuff". In our democracies we effectively only vote for our domestic politics, not international. Blindly is what our governments do to ensure we vote for them, that is exactly what our democracy is about. You can sugar coat it all you like as trying to be extremely self educated and with PHD's and whatever, at the end the day we're all just sheep for the voting system.
Despite his popularity with many people, I NEVER voted for Bliar, or his 'new' Labour Party - far too far to the 'right for my political beliefs and ethical standards
But the original blunder was started by Bush. Now Trump does not want to leave Iraq. That makes it an illegal occupation. It's blunder on top of another blunder. And Trump is doing it to distract from the Senate trial over his removal from office. It really is all living proof that Rex Tillerson was right!
I think Trump may be seeing the reason Iraqs economy largely depends on american aid as a valid excuse to ignore Iraqs wish that US forced now withdraw.
So you probably voted for the Tory party then, to keep J.Major in power? That is if you did vote, who was an absolute sausage compared to Blair, no wonder the posh twat got in power back in 1997. And yes you are more wise than me, I love you for that. Unlike most of my generation who absolutely couldn't give a shit about your opinion.
I agree in part. Iraq was very rich until Americans started to mess with it. Until the Kuwait/Gulf War Iraq was wealthier than America, by per/capita basis. The Iraqi dollar back in the sixties/Seventies/Eighties was worth nearly three and a half dollars. Their nation was debt free. And their nation provided free medical care, free education, and old age pension to everyone.
