Police: Iowa woman said she ran over 14 year old girl because she was Mexican

Perhaps she hasn’t voted in the last 30 years, but what we know about her fits the profile of a trump supporter.


She’s white
She’s a racist (She used racial slurs at the convenience store which she directed towards a clerk and the black customers)
She’s trailer park trash
She has an irrational fear of Mexicans
She’s a chronic shoplifter
She abuses alcohol
She has a 6th grade education
She’s a meth-head, and even told the police she smoked meth 5 hours earlier

I’d say that fits the definition of a typical trump supporter

 

Seems to me the most typical Trump supporter is a working class conservative who has great faith in the economy and what Trump is supposedly doing to make it better.
The woman in the OP seems indeed more like a typical example of the non voting american.

 

On request of her attorneys . a judge has granted a psych evaluation .

 

I think that's appropriate, but I don't think it ought to get her out of serious consequences. After all, she killed someone.

I had also assumed somebody has died.

 

As far as I know both the girl and the boy she hit first were only injured.

Not that it makes this any less severe.

Seriously though I hope she gets into some serious strife over this.

on a more serious note, i agree that her insanity should not get her off without consequences, but it does need to be taken into consideration when figuring out what needs to be done with her. of course, although i have no evidence to back it up, i would guess that a high percentage of our prison population has some sort of mental illness.

 

Spot on with the mental health side of things. Still think that she needs to be placed in some sort of jail that would sort her mental health out whilst living there under some forced restrictions.

I never understood why "craziness" gains anybody's empathy/sympathy for committing a horrible crime like attempted murder.

If she's crazy enough to believe running people over for being the wrong skin color is justified, she's not fit to be free in society at all. Period.

 

It might just be how she looks as well.
