Making fake shoes to go barefoot anyway

    For me they serve no purpose but for the most part they still function fine for the average barefooter. There's nothing really wrong with it, I just sent it as a waste of money but for those who maybe want to start out and don't want to be conspicuous, things like these could be great. It's a lot better than nothing. A transition stage.

    yeah for me that have no purpose, but I suspect they are designed more for those people who perhaps in the past have been confronted in stores and malls etc....and really want to avoid that confrontation...which is understandable.
    Here in NZ that confrontation is non existent

    Not sure if I could be fine with that. You can't gain all the benefits of being barefoot without actually having your soles exposed.
