I just said a number.... It's not like I wasted time figuring it out..

 

ERrrr 2+10= 12
4x 12= 48

First you do times, after that you can do plus. So it is 42.

10X4= 40

2+40= 42

almost. you have to notice that in the final equation there's only one boot and one horseshoe, while there were two of each in the previous lines. so it's actually 10X2=20, 1+20=21.

 

that whole fear of the unknown thing.
i'm not pretending i've never felt it, but i've never found convincing logical sense in our doing so,
not when ten times more harm always comes from things we know, and often known so well we take them for granted.

clever is just looking, without what someone else tells you how to see.

i have to admit it does take sometimes most of a lifetime to learn how to do that,
and even then, i doubt any of us can do so all the time.
