I agree entirely, I've been played by the cops enough times to do my best to avoid them. I've been to court enough times to see that race is rarely the issue, but revenue is always part of the equation. I have no doubts of any sort about police corruption, so I can plainly see that trying to cherry pick the focus of their deeds only dilutes the overall issue's significance. If I want to complain about the harassment I've received from cops, I have to wait in line. At the back of that line. Because I don't have a race card to play. I'm the easiest guy in America to squeeze for money, I'm a white guy with a record.

Every race has the same opportunity to have a good life as long as they work hard enough for it. No law is in place stopping different races from being able to attend a good school, get a good job, or live in a good neighborhood.
They have equality.

 

The difference is what "pride" means. If gays or black people have pride it's not at the expense of others. "White" pride means the extermination of other races that is where the pride comes from. The idea that white people are superior and should build a separate society from inferiors.

Gay pride is a parade and not firing them for having a same sex mate. There is a racist element of SOME black pride but in general they are not respected by the movement where as white pride is an exclusively racist thing.

I don't think that's true. I have shared insights of mine. And you're right about that I should study more. But I still have a book that's relevant to this topic. And it doesn't back up what you're saying about how people of color are the problem with the world today or however your words were... I think that the honest evaluation is that people of color face discrimination in a multitude of ways every day of their lives. These things should be remedied. Also that just because there has been progress means that we have achieved equality is a falsehood and is typically considered a certain type of fallacy. It's not important to know everything unless you're a statistician, really. What it is important to know is that it's easy to do your part in ensuring a future that does not tolerate racial inequality.

 

Statistics don't lie. Nobody is stopping them from having a good and safe life but themselves.

you are manipulating the statistics to imply exactly what though? I mean, it sounds like you're trying to say something about the good of society. I get that. But at the same time you're painting a picture with people of color as the aggressors. I would definitely argue that they are the victims in a multitude of ways.

 

I agree with both you and unfocusedanakin that taking pride in ones race and heritage on itself doesn't have to be anything bad, no matter what race or ethnicity. But the term white pride unfortunately also means something else, as unfocusedanakin pointed out; something more extreme.

 

I'm not manipulating any statistics. Blacks and Hispanics just commit more crimes than whites and Asians.
Sure there has been incidents where they have been discriminated against but every race has been discriminated against at one point or another and there is no law that is stopping anybody from living a good life. How are they victims?
