Fell asleep at a Brazilian steakhouse while out to dinner with 4 other friends. The hostess came and put a small blanket on me while I rested my head on the table. I was full, I was tired!
They are and bft4evr is not alone in doing that, I did too, 'cos the hospital put earphones on me and I chose some classical music to play to me - it was soporific !!!
I've nodded off on the bus/train but I don't think that's too strange. I haven't slept in many strange places but I do have this thing about not sleeping alone. I mean, I'm in my 20's and the last time I slept with my mom was...May. My bff/roommate and I sleep together all the time, pretty much every monday, if 1 of us has a bad day or a nightmare or something. If any friend crashes with me I'll usually ask them to sleep in my bed. Basically I hate sleeping alone and and any chance I get to sleep with someone I take it. And I mean literally sleep. No smashing.
They are! But it is a very confining enclosure and perhaps I have a bit of claustrophobia. I did not want to open my eyes and have the "ceiling" what seemed like six inches from the tip of my nose! So before I was slid into the tube I closed my eyes and kept them that way. I managed to nod off and sleep through most of it despite the noise.
I always read a book while flying. For me the best way to pass the time is to immerse myself in a good book.
