So your argument that America is less free than the Islamic world is an isolated case of Jewish women being forced into marriage with their cousins, and painting all Americans as cannibals because of the Donner party taking drastic survival measures?

You can do anything in America without police surveillance. America regulates every part of a person's life. In most Middle East nations, the government does not intrude on ordinary people to such a degree. You Asmodean have obviously never visited such places but I have.

America has such freedom that it holds more people in prison than the rest of the world. And if you cross the street wrong in America, you get a ticket. If you sleep in your car in America, you get a ticket. If you back talk a cop in America, they'll beat you and make up fake charges against you. If you stand in your second floor balcony like Matt Warden, they'll shoot and kill you. If you lock your self out of your own house, like Bode Roybal, they'll kill you. If you carry cash in America when you drive down the highway, they'll take it and fabricate some false charge against you. Yes sir, America can be real nifty. They might even come to your house and hang you from the rafters like they done that old Black man in Gilpin County.

 

I did not say they enjoy the SAME freedom, or that one is better than another. My point again is : MORE LAWS = LESS FREEDOM. Keep in mind, in most cases people might have privilege and live a plush and extravagant life as the Saudis, but the have little FREEDOM. Dubai is one of the most controlled, with much privilege. The UK is the most strict police state, aside from maybe Israel. The people have a fine life with much privilege; however, they do not have true freedom. The don't have a true constitution which enshrines their FREEDOM. THEY ARE SUBJECTS OF THE CROWN. They are not citizens like Americans used to be. After 9/11/2001 Attorney General Ashcroft stood in front of the TV camera and declared, "You will lose your constitutional rights." Right away, all the stupid patriotic Republicans accepted their fate.

probably the same reason the right can't meme. because people who base their lives on what one of the two major political parties tells them are not too bright.

The left is capable of creating memes, but most of them are rather stale, bland, cringy, nonsensical, or just flat out dumb. They never catch on or go viral. If any lefty meme goes viral, it's because it would was likely forced upon us by the megaphones of the mainstream media which the left monopolizes.

The problem the left has, is that they have forced themselves to walk on eggshells, as they submit themselves to the ever-changing rules of political correctness. Lost most, if not all their sense of humor. When you're constantly worried about offending certain groups of people with microagressions and triggering the thin-skinned, you lose sight of what it means to be edgy, which is often the best kind of humor.

This was very evident in the old "Make Trump Memes Great Again" thread. The leftist memes in that thread were bland, wordy, and boring for the most part. Even though there were a few good ones that I laughed at, those were few and far between. I not surprised that thread was taken off life support because they couldn't compete.

One strength the left has had for a long time, was weaponized accusations of racism. When they can't counter a good meme like Pepe, Wojak, NPC, or anything else, they just say those memes are "racist," and nobody except the gullible and intellectually lazy will believe. But the stronghold of weaponized racist accusations is beginning to crumble.

So rather than come at us with better memes, Balbus has decided to mimic tyrannical European Union Article 13 style censorship laws on this forum.

Because you're vaguely overgeneralizing in a way the slanders and endangers innocent people. Obviously, you're the one who made the statement, so presumably you're the one who should be able to answer the question.
