It doesn't matter to me wether they're left or rightwing. In fact, i prefer it when they're not clearly in one of those camps or taken a side.
Every subject can be made fun of, also in a dubious manner. What matters is the intent and wether its actually funny/good humour. In some unfortunate cases the intent may be dubious (solely or primarily aimed to hurt, offend or insult) and the joke also be funny. That's when it becomes a guilty pleasure i guess

The Democrat Party stands for peace, love, and understanding. The Democrat Party invites all religions, ethnicities, and racial groups to join. The Democrat Party promotes tolerance. In contrast, the Republican Party promotes hate. Republicans hate Muslims, Mexicans, Africans, Jews, and even endangered animals. Republican behavior has no basis in humor.

 

(But only if you share their views, otherwise, you're a "Nazi"). THAT is what democrats have become. Tolerance? Barely. Acceptance, NEVER! Democrats are never wrong, so what should they have to accept but their own views?
