I quoted your initial comment on this thread in its entirety- not the title. And you seem to think Trump is a jerk.
There was no U.S. back then and you know it. You're literally adding centuries of responsibility that simply does not exist. The US is on the hook for about 80 years of slavery, a compromise to actually get the nation incorporated. But it did end. Why is it that this 80 year segment of the thousands of years of human slavery is such an important consideration? Especially when slavery is still in full swing all over the planet.
The logical fallacy of the package deal (also known as false conjunction) consists of assuming that things often grouped together by tradition or culture must always be grouped that way. It is particularly common in political arguments: "My opponent is a conservative who voted against higher taxes and welfare, therefore he will also oppose gun control and abortion." While those four positions are often grouped together as "conservative" in American politics, there is no reason that one cannot believe in one "conservative" idea while not believing in another. Package-deal fallacy - Wikipedia I can hate Andrew Cuomo and not be 100% Trump at the same time.
For the record, I left Florida 20 years ago because so many of the people there are total dicks. Which is likely why it's shaped like one. So it should be no surprise that Trump's moving there. Unless he's just doing it to avoid paying state income tax. Like most of the New Yorkers who move there.
So, Mr. Trump has made an "Inversion" and moved to Fla., legally. The story is not Mr. Trump, but of the many New Yorkers who make this move, and the reasoning for doling so.
Whats wrong with avoiding those greedy NY scumbags who sit in their leather chairs behind their mahogany desks driving home to fancy houses in luxury cars screwing us for tax money all day long for their precious pensions... Public 'servants' in NY are total selfish sacks of shit.
I took philosophical logic as an elective in college, thinking it might get me deeper into general logic as applied to computers. They are not exactly cross-compatible and screwed up my approach to both for a whole semester (though I still have problems with branch to subroutine architecture). The only thing that comes close to an electronic version of false conjunction is accidental cross-talk between data streams before twisted pair com links. Real false conjunction is an intentional deception of substantial order. It can draw associations out of thin air and sell them like crack.
But in In computer science, divide and conquer is an algorithm design paradigm based on multi-branched recursion. A divide-and-conquer algorithm works by recursively breaking down a problem into two or more sub-problems of the same or related type, until these become simple enough to be solved directly. The solutions to the sub-problems are then combined to give a solution to the original problem.
Sorry, I'm trying to post this stuff while watching my almost three year old granddaughter, so I get confused now and again. I was answering 6 Eyes contention that there was no slavery in the original colonies. I meant to say that slavery in the colonies began in Charles Town in 1670, which is now part of the U.S..
