we had good friends there - great accomodation and great life style - who woould wanna give that up ?
given it back to the chinks - wot a disaster - they've got a bloody big country already and have stuffed that up! whole empty new cities uninhabited - ?? beats me
those kids have fighting spunk now protesting in the airport. The chinese [mainland] seem to be playing a waiting game and wondering what to do - maybe it's got them stumped and they've afeared of the eyes of the world!! interesting and dangerous times we live in!
oh no HK is falling into mayhem - the chinas authorities have issued there first formal and pubic announcement and I will attempt to translate from Mandarin to english " stop all this naughty naughty nonsense at once or daddy will slap you wrists very very hard and send in the plastic army toys to disarm you " god my mandarin is still spot on! I fear the worst - there are armed army barracks within the outer districts of HK - people don't realize Beijing to respond to unrest in Hong Kong after more violent clashes
and now the chinese troops amass over the border with HK - thousands of troups and tanks etc getting ready to enter HK - wot a disaster if the youth do not see sense and back down the tanks will rumble in like tienamen square disaster all those years ago and the freedom and qo demoracy Hk has enjoyed will be gone possibly for ever - the eyes of the world is open them and this is the only restraint holding back the yellow perils!1
well the good news is that the chinese troups have not moved into HK - china it seems is playing a waiting game - I think they fear a backlash from the rest of the world - harder now to predict anything! - the protesters seem to be holding their own and the chinese troups have still not entered and the world waits holds its breathe and watches!!
closer to the brinks - protester now shot and in hospital ; police denying the right to do this - HK admin in lock down ; incapable of sitting down with students and negotiatiing anything because they are constantly taking orders from the mainland. democracy is on the line!!
well here I am again after a long holiday repose! - and still HK remains unsolved by all!! - the colony is now officially in recession - no surprise - it took so long? and no one seems to have a solution - even China is afraid of sending it's troops in to quell the uprising! The solution seems simple!! - the govt of HK needs to or should be prepared to sit down with a quarum of the protesters and talk - forget their ideologies - just talk - is that so difficult and from there solutions may come
I 'visited' yankee land recently and saw villages within the new york district that were considered statistically 99% white in population identity. wow now that is in this day and age amazing! - forward thinking - outward looking and adventurous Nah - just the opposite - fearful of newcomers and losing their identities! living in cosy cosy land!
never seen you in black - wow so sexy and desirable - now that stance don't need a smile just a scream will do!
watched the film "mother" for the first time last night -well you'll either consider it amazing or useless depending on your views of art! - it certainly is disturbing in parts and curious but at the end for me anyway the message was pretty simple and clear - a modern day version of the "crucifixion" symbolized in modern day usa or perhaps another version of "joan of ark" certainly worth a viewing imo
you should not watch it alone unless you are a male!! - I would recommend but it is not for the faint hearted - how is your faint by the way at the mo??
Ah Grantchester has returned to our screens and is on tonight - I think this is were that sexy minister bows out of the serious and rushes off to america with the delightful ministers daughter who he has fallen in love with and they get a new vicar. Never a good idea for a series but he is well sort after!!
