it's hard to explain what i mean, but i hope you both know me well enough to know i don't play devil's advocate (except when useful) or debate insincerely...

it's more like.. how I know Boris Johnson does not stand for the world I would want, yet I absolutely and sincerely am happy with him as our current prime minister, because I like him, I like his energy. I want to remain part of the EU, but I absolutely and sincerely don't think it matters either way, in the long run... it's part of a society that i see as a make believe construct that I can't take wholly seriously anyway. I take the environment very seriously, but if faced with people like VG, or people who post pictures of lots of straws being used, it doesn't upset or anger me. I'd rather respond to that with a smile and a shrug. Because really, getting upset and taking THAT kind of thing seriously won't help.

I do not see this mass extinction event happening. all I see are leftists trying to promote this idea. for what purpose I still don't know, unless it's being done to gain control of the world economy. one world, one religion, one law, one government. a global rule. don't like it.

Anyways your post made me think of members here who do frequently argue without really caring about or believing the things they say. Your post made me think of them and I just sort of went off on my own tangent with it

Its not stupid to find him sympathetic but I'm sorry, it is stupid to be happy with him as prime minister only because you find him sympathetic. His functioning on that position should count there at least as much and it is abysmal so far.
