FBI Nabs 4th Man at JFK Airport in Giuliani Associates' Case

    excerpt:

"A Florida man wanted in a campaign finance case involving associates of Rudy Giuliani is in federal custody.

Spokespersons for the U.S. attorney's office in Manhattan and the FBI confirm that David Correia was arrested after flying Wednesday to JFK Airport in New York City to turn himself in.

Correia, 44, was named in an indictment with two Giuliani associates and another man arrested last week on charges they made illegal contributions to a congressman and a political action committee supporting President Donald Trump. The two associates were arrested last week. Andrey Kukushkin, a Ukrainian-born U.S. citizen, was also charged in the case. Kukushkin was arrested last week in San Francisco."

Trump dismisses Turkey's invasion of Syria: 'It's not our border'
Trump insisted on Wednesday that the fight is over land that "has nothing to do with us."

Trump dismisses Turkey's invasion of Syria: 'It's not our border'

    excerpt:

"WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Wednesday downplayed the escalating tensions in the Middle East in the aftermath of his abrupt withdrawal of American troops from northeastern Syria, referring to the area as "not our border" and to Kurdish forces as "no angels."

"If Turkey goes into Syria, that’s between Turkey and Syria," he said to reporters in the Oval Office. "It’s not between Turkey and the United States, like a lot of stupid people would like us to — would like you to believe."

Trump's decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria this month has left the Middle East in chaos as Kurdish troops have felt abandoned by the U.S. and left struggling to fend off invading Turkish forces. The absence of the U.S. military has created a power vacuum in the region, allowing Russia to absorb the Kurdish forces and extend their influence in the area."

Giuliani claimed he would be the hero in the Ukraine scandal. Now he won't cooperate at all with the inquiry.

Curious as to what Giuliani's response would have been when he was a prosecutor in the 1980's if the mobsters had claimed that the investigation of them was unconstitutional.

Giuliani gave a wild interview saying he 'will be the hero' of the Ukraine scandal

    excerpt:

"Giuliani said in the interview: "It is impossible that the whistleblower is a hero and I'm not. And I will be the hero!"

"These morons — when this is over, I will be the hero."

Plott, who was speaking with Giuliani by phone, said Giuliani was "very angry" and sounded "out of breath" during moments of the call."

And now Giuliani is the subject of a counter-intelligence investigation. I'm sure by now Trump's name has come up a time or two.

A lawyer who keeps his mouth shut is an oxymoron.

Pelosi fires back after Trump 'meltdown': 'We have to pray for his health'

    excerpt:

"Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said that "we have to pray" for President Trump's health after what she described as a "meltdown" during a meeting at the White House on Wednesday, marking an escalation in her depiction of the commander in chief.

"I pray for the president all the time and I tell him that. I pray for his safety and that of his family. Now we have to pray for his health, because this was a very serious meltdown on the part of the president," Pelosi said at a press conference after returning to the Capitol.

A reporter later sought to clarify if Pelosi was suggesting that Trump is mentally unwell.

"I'm not talking about mentally. I'm just talking about handling -- just handling the truth," Pelosi replied."

Evangelicals might consider another session of laying hands on Trump in his time of need to quell his insecurities.

You don't just remove our troops with no plan. I hate our involvement in the middle east, but the people we're turning our backs on helped the US out with ISIS. Now they will be slaughtered. If you're the US good luck getting any help in the future from people who would be our allies.

Man dies by apparent suicide while in ICE custody

Man dies by apparent suicide while in ICE custody

    excerpt:

"BuzzFeed News reported that Hernandez-Diaz was an asylum-seeker. An ICE spokesman told The Hill that he does "not dispute" that Hernandez-Diaz was seeking asylum. The ICE statement said his "claim for an immigration benefit" had not been decided in court at the time of his death.

Hernandez-Diaz entered ICE custody in May after he was found to be inadmissible to the U.S. at the Paso Del Norte Port of Entry in El Paso, Texas, the statement said.

He is the second person to die in ICE custody this month.

"ICE is firmly committed to the health and welfare of all those in its custody and is undertaking a comprehensive agency-wide review of this incident, as it does in all such cases," the agency said in a statement. "Fatalities in ICE custody, statistically, are exceedingly rare and occur at a fraction of the rate of the U.S. detained population as a whole.""

You seem to think because Guliani knew these guys it automatically means he has something to do with the case in question

"Correia is accused of conspiring with the other defendants to make political donations to local and federal politicians in New York, Nevada and other states with the aim of trying to get support for a new recreational marijuana business"

"Several senior U.S. law enforcement officials told NBC News Sessions is the lawmaker identified in court documents as "Congressman-1." Donations described in the indictment also match campaign finance reports for Sessions, a Texas Republican who lost his re-election bid in November 2018.

Sessions, 64, has denied wrongdoing. But the federal indictment alleges "Congressman 1" was part of what prosecutors described as a coordinated effort to remove Yovanovitch at the behest of an unnamed Ukrainian official."

The case the 4 were arrested for doesnt seem to have much to do with Guliani

And they were arrested by the FBI under this administration

You are posting this like its going to be some smoking gun against Trump, when I dont think you are even reading the articles

How many people suicided in the US whilst not in ICE custody same day?

And why is this in the Trump score card thread?

Well, especially if he was told by Erdogan we are going in whether you like it or not, move your troops so they dont get killed. What magical plan do you think they are supposed to come up with in 72 hours that would be so different. Pulling them out straight away would have been the only 'plan'

I think some of you havent really thought this through. There were only a thousand troops in the first place that were only doing a monitoring role

no one wants our troops caught between two warring armies anyhow. they were fighting before we were born and they will still be fighting when we're all gone.

dude, he has put 2800 troops into SA. Potential casualties in a war between Iran, and SA. Why do you insist on protecting trump?

    A) its only 2800 troops

    B) to deter a clash between Iran via Yemen vs SA

    C) Trump does something and automatically it has to be a negative no matter what, when in this case Obama probably would have done the same thing

Even if it is just about protecting oil supplies, it affects a lot of people if their is a shortage

i.e in this case, he did the right thing
