Why you can't find God.

  1. I don't think I was the reason Irminsul left. I think she just wanted to go. I wouldn't even say I was the straw that broke the camel's back. She was often very belittling to me anyway. So, all's fair.

I really do think that God is when people choose love over hate. People get upset with other people, and then they think about God, which is love, and it gives them the strength to forgive I appreciate God for that reason.

You weren't. They should shut up about it.

I am a fan of both of you and enjoy your posts. Am sure Irmy will come back ! I kind of saw her as the tomboyish sister or cousin I never had and wish I had.

  5. My mom used to say this song was about me.

Irminsul should come back. I guess she just doesn't see any potential in these forums. I miss her Anunaki approach. Who's going to talk about aliens seeding humanity now? That's what my mom believed, too.

    Really ?
He even called his son Michael Valentine Manson after the main Character in "strange land " ! And "his Girls" he thought of as followers in the same way as Smiths girls in the book !! Even the water ceremony was pinched out of that book

    Yep.
The world will change when everyone learns to do this when it's really difficult, not just when it's easy.

One's chosen God is where one finds it - IMO.
Both one's credo of faith and a hotdog give sustenance to an individual; though perhaps in different ways.
So I guess what you are intermating, is that we are all after the accomplishment of becoming the biggest weiner (or female equivalent thereof) we can be then?????

Don't we all think of ourselves as Individually apart from others, and in one's own mind's eye - Masters/Mistresses of our own destinies - doesn't that make us champion of such and without the need for a Governing Officious Direction?

Maybe we think of ourselves as masters in our own domain- in an environment or situation that we have complete control over, but even then, we should not consider ourselves “God”
I can’t get on board with that thought.

We may be connected to God but I also think putting that like we are God is not the most adequate description.

A connection with 'a' God - in whatever and whoever one feel that to be is a Positive thing in both Solace and Strength - but when it comes to action - then we are very much in charge of our own development and education advancement IMO

I agree. Naturally I would say!

I would leave 'a' out of it (no worries; not because of any dogmatic reasons :D).
Also don't feel the need to narrow down what God is. Maybe (s)he/It/we :grinning: are (partly) love, maybe not. I do feel God as something benevolent since I hold whatever God is responsible for my existence, which i for one am grateful to experience.

And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.
