One in five Americans insists the sun revolves around the earth, over half debate the definition of stupid and who is the best example, and Donald Duck is president.... all because 12 years of public school is never enough.

To think that the previous American administration pulled out all the stops to reach some agreement, any agreement, with Iran.

Was it just because Valerie Jarrett was raised in Iran?

They flew a cool billion in small bills to Iran and got themselves caught.

Now we see Iran's true face.

Well we did have some sort of agreement with Iran. The agreement was unable to pass in Congress, its durability was thus suspect.

Our previous administration made a point of preference for Iran over Saudi Arabia. In truth , both regimes are mirror images of each other.

Our current President makes a point of preference for Saudi Arabia over Iran, blew up the nuclear agreement and is pursuing a dangerous course that could lead us into another Middle East war. But...Obama.

Opinion | Donald Trump vs. the United States of America
    David Leonhardt
    Sept. 22, 2019

Opinion | Donald Trump vs. the United States of America

    excerpt:

"He enthusiastically campaigned for a Senate candidate who was accused of molesting multiple teenage girls.

He waved around his arms, while giving a speech, to ridicule a physically disabled person.

He has encouraged his supporters to commit violence against his political opponents.

He has called for his opponents and critics to be investigated and jailed.

He uses a phrase popular with dictators — “the enemy of the people” — to describe journalists.

He attempts to undermine any independent source of information that he does not like, including judges, scientists, journalists, election officials, the F.B.I., the C.I.A., the Congressional Budget Office and the National Weather Service.

He has tried to harass the chairman of the Federal Reserve into lowering interest rates.

He said that a judge could not be objective because of his Mexican heritage."

Trump Attacks Powell for Not Having the “Guts” to Torpedo the Economy
The president wants a Fed chief with the “vision” to create a financial bubble.

Trump Attacks Powell for Not Having the “Guts” to Torpedo the Economy

    excerpt:

"This tweet was inspired by Fed chief Jerome Powell announcing, as he was widely expected to do, that the central bank would reduce interest rates by a quarter point, in order to address fears about slowing growth around the world, in addition to worries that Trump’s trade war will drag on with no end in sight. That Powell cut rates for the second time this year, as Trump has been demanding for some time now, was not enough to sate the aspiring authoritarian. Nor was the fact that Powell’s actions are effectively bailing Trump out of his trade war, which has already caused a recession in manufacturing and a pullback from the nation’s largest corporations when it comes to capital investments and hiring. Instead, like a failed businessman whose track record when it comes to marriages is only outdone by his track record when it comes to bankruptcies, the president will not be happy until Powell slashes rates as far as possible in order to juice the economy before the election. Earlier this month, Trump demanded that the “boneheads” at the Fed cut interest rates to zero “or less.”"

    Trump remarks about Jerome Powell:

    November 2, 2017

“He’s strong, he’s committed, he’s smart. I am confident that with Jay as a wise steward of the Federal Reserve, it will have the leadership it needs in the years to come.”

    August 23, 2019

“As usual, the Fed did NOTHING! It is incredible that they can ‘speak’ without knowing or asking what I am doing, which will be announced shortly. We have a very strong dollar and a very weak Fed. I will work ‘brilliantly’ with both, and the U.S. will do great,”

“My only question is, who is our bigger enemy, Jay Powel (sic) or Chairman Xi?”

    September 11, 2019

"It is only the naïveté of Jay Powell and the Federal Reserve that doesn’t allow us to do what other countries are already doing. A once in a lifetime opportunity that we are missing because of 'Boneheads.'"

    September 18, 2019

Jay Powell and the Federal Reserve Fail Again. No “guts,” no sense, no vision! A terrible communicator!

At one time Hunter Biden served on the board of Burisma, a Ukraine natural gas company. Burisma was being investigated by Viktor Shokin, a Ukainian prosecutor. But the U.S. considered Shokin to be corrupt and wanted him removed. Joe Boden threatened to withhold $1 billion in loan guarantees if he wasn't removed.
But by that time the investigation had ended and Shokin had already been removed.

Trump claims that what Joe Biden said was illegal.
No one else in the U.S., the Ukraine, or the world agrees with him, except Rudy Giuliani. Good old Rudy.
The president of Ukraine has stated that he isn't going to investigate anything, becasue Joe and Hunter did nothing illegal.

So Trump calls up the president of Ukraine and repeatedly tells him (eight times) to work with Rudy to investigate Hunter or he would withhold several million dollars of aid and U.S. military assets.
That's extortion. Quid pro quo. You get the money, I get the information.
Plus Trump (again) has asked a foreign government to interfere with our elections as he wants to use anything they find out about Biden's family during the campaign.
That's a campaign finance law violation.

And to top it of Trump has admitted doing so:
A whistleblower gets wind of this and reports it.
The intelligence community inspector general Michael Atkinson (appointed by Trump and approved by Congress) says, whoa! This is bad! And sends it on to the acting (not approved by Congress, just one of Trump's buddies) director of national intelligence, Joseph Maguire.
Maguire is required by law to send it to Congress.
He has refused at the direction of Trump.
    That's obstructing justice.

Trump's defense goes something like this:
While criminal and impeachable, Maguire ain't going to do shit about it.

    That's about it.

Chuck Todd Grills Steve Mnuchin About Extra $140 Million Aid Package That Ukraine Reportedly Called A Pleasant Surprise
    By Christina Zhao
    9/22/19 at 7:01 PM EDT

Chuck Todd grills Steve Mnuchin about extra $140 million aid package that Ukraine reportedly called a pleasant surprise

    excerpt:

"The Trump administration has been accused of pressuring the newly-elected Ukrainian president to open an investigation into the business dealings of Biden's son, Hunter Biden. Ukrainian leaders decided against opening the investigation and the Trump administration withheld military aid. Following bipartisan pressure from Congress, the military aid was eventually released, along with an extra $140 million.

"Explain how, all of a sudden, when the aid got released, more money showed up. Where did that money come from?" Todd asked Mnuchin during a segment on NBC's Meet the Press. "There was $250 million and they got an additional $140 million that they didn't expect. Do you have any idea where that came from?"

"It was appropriated money, it came through the State Department," the Treasury Secretary responded."

Please note: Trump first offered a TRANSCRIPT of his conversation, not the phone recording or the complaint by the government employee who witnessed it go down. It's sort of like when he gave out the remodeled version of the Mueller report, and his refusal to disclose his taxes, and his refusal to hand over the server from the Tower which was communicating with another in Russia. No Sir, he does not want the American people to know anything about what he does. I just bet Deutsche Bank, Alfa Bank, Capitol Bank, and Sheldon Adelleshon all feel real safe and cushy right now, because William Barr and Trump and Muntchin have reassured them.

Everyones just going to hear three words "Ukraine gas company" super dodgy. What was he doing getting involved in the first place. You are never going to get the truth from either side over there

As for the withholding military aid part, yeah I'll wait till I see a transcript, or hear the recording. Because that part sounds like bullshit. And regardless, most of the public are going to be like, we are giving military aid to Ukraine?

"Allies of Mr. Trump have pointed to a conflict of interest, and asked Ukraine to investigate Mr. Biden’s request in 2016 that Ukraine’s president at the time, Petro O. Poroshenko, dismiss a prosecutor who had investigated the gas company.

By the time of that July 25 call, the administration had already suspended the aid, a decision reached in early July"

Trump’s Hold on Military Aid Blindsided Top Ukrainian Officials

Bidens son just being on the board of a Ukraine gas company is like huh?. Why not just sell real estate in florida to old people or something, instead of something that instantly makes you sound dodgy

Boy … old Al Capone would be jealous of all this organized criminal activity and tax evasion. You know, Al Capone was finally nailed on his taxes, after years of evading prosecution. He was careful, but the long arm of the law got him. The Teflon Don also evaded the law for a long time, but ended up in a cell anyway. From what I read, Adam Schiff is working overtime on this stuff. In 12 months we'll know who our new president will be, and the new attorney general.
