Another Shooting

And... another shooting in Dayton Ohio overnight. Reported 9 dead.

 

Goddamnit

 

This reflects a failure of American civilian leadership, official and unofficial. Lynchings of human beings in the U.S. came to an end with Martin Luther King's and John Kennedy's proactive efforts in this regard.

This is an another similar challenge. Problems are actually challenges and opportunities for growth. But it requires quality leaders to address the issue and turn it around for the better.

 

Yeah... That's not gonna happen.

 

It's funny, but we'll never know if civil war breaks out in this country. 100 men could go on a shooting spree tomorrow and we'd just lock them up and call it domestic terrorism.

 

Are there any sane mass shooters? I don't think so.

Guy was a fervant racist who went from Dallas to a place with an even greater Hispanic population. So while he was crazy also pretty aware of what he was doing.

 

What we really need is more "thoughts and prayers" with a side order of "fine people on both sides"... Doesn't that always fix everything?

 

If everybody in that Walmart was carrying a gun this shit wouldn't happen..!

 

So my solution is guns should be subsidized.

 

Then obviously they are going to be stuck with a worsening problem. Either you progress or you regress. It is better to die the death of a martyr for ideals rather than get stuck in some mass shooting while going out for a movie and hot dogs.

 

So 2 shootings in 24 hours? I knew this day would come. It's statistics, it happens so often eventually 2 happen at the same time.

 

It seems their political system caters to the weapon industry big time. There are plenty of american individuals willing to make the change but it should be a united effort. If everyone who shakes their head at this but is not actively involved in a real progressive change would, i think this change is possible. This country made glorious changes for the better once upon a time, when 'ordinary' citizens stood up and united.

 

This should tell us that Trump/Pence supporters will kill anyone who does not agree with them. They call for a racial holly war just like Ben Davis of the 211 Prison Crew, The Aryan Brotherhood, The Aryan Nations, The Order, The Oath Keepers, The Alt-Righters, Identity EVROPA, and another truckload of similar bigots who want to create an all white Christian nation. Trump's election has empowered these extremists. Early on they started with killing Muslim college students in North Carolina, Florida, Indiana, and Texas. Now they are going after Mexicans, Blacks, and any other they determine to be unworthy of being in America. We should all vote to repeal the Second Amendment to bring about an end to these mass shootings.

 

It's almost 700 miles from Dallas to El Paso, maybe a little more.

 

WE have got to write to the elected leaders and push the Democrats to do more.

 

At this point I think we need to accept a period of white right wing terrorism vs. the army. If we pass gun laws just let them try and die. It's what they want and all they will accept. Then maybe those left alive will agree with the gun laws. I don't want people to die but they are clear on their plans and they think the threat means no laws are passed. So even if some minor gun laws changed I see the Alex Jones types doing something. We depend on the military I guess. They are not afraid, the only question is how many low level members will follow orders and how many are infowars.

 

If you had included 'some' or 'a certain amount' it would make more sense.

I don't think that if people are packing it's going to make a difference. People will just panic, not calmly reach into their holsters and proceed to have a gun fight.
