I knew somebody was going to miss the point... Didn't expect it so quickly. Well... yeah I did expect it quickly.
Not trying to be obtuse at all. What the hell is this thread even about then, what the hell was all the skewed media attention over the last year even about then if the numbers are less than previous years, numbers far less than in the 90s and 00s What the hell? As if it isnt about partisan bullshit, thats as plain as day On top of that the internet killed print media, all news sources just go for clickbait headlines and aside from that we get all our info from youtubers whose day job is fry station attendant
VG Well that would explain a lot if that where you get ALL your information from LOL I get my info from lots of different sources very rarely from youtubers if anything the only ones I see are the ones mainly right wingers post here. Anyway I’d ask the same question Tyrson asked - do you honestly not know what this thread is about - and I think you would have to be very much biased toward Trump to think the camps and the way they are been run is a ‘good’ thing
You're confusing asylum seekers with economic migrants illegally crossing for employment Illegal immigration is down Asylum claims from Central America are up. Hope that clears up the confusion! I mostly get my news from Reuters, the AP, and NPR by the way. They seem to be some of the least biased, least sensational sources
Havent actually seen you too involved in this thread So you need to go back read all 32 pages to get up to speed
This is for ALL asylum applications, not just those from central America And does indicate applications were at an all time high in 2017 which is recent. So I'm not sure what point you think you're proving anyways
VG LOL I read a hell of a lot more than I contribute I’ve often read threads that I’ve never contributed to because i find them intresting. So are you going to answer the questions?
OMG Well, I take it you think nobody else is going to bother clicking that link Under 8000 march through to September last year, total appilcations from all the world, and thats applications, not approvals. And thats stuff all really. I guess if applications from central america went up by 4 in a month thats still technically going up I suppose. Maybe one guy found out he had four cousins he never knew he had
Their primary intent is to better their own (families) life, just like most americans. That they concluded that its worth going to the US for it instead of working in their country of origin seems because of factors that are not on them personally. As 6-eyed pointed out there are americans who choose not to work certain kind of jobs. They apparently instead choose to live unemployed in their moms basement. These job positions are vacant. The demand can be (and is) filled by immigrants eager to work (Seems like America became great with that ). So it seems that they are doing a better job (like literally ) than those americans 6-eyed spoke of in regards of 'making America better', what do you think?
Keep in mind that a revolution in your home country is not as easy as it was in 1776. I'd just like to see Americans try it here if shit went from bad to worse.
[ Central Americans flee homes in record numbers: 'The level of violence is brutal' This was in 2018 but you get the idea
Don't tell the NRA that. They spend all their time arguing over what is an assault riffle and what's not since they refuse to accept it's not 1776 anymore. They are tough and everyone fears them including the goverment. Gun laws only exist over fear not a logical approach to wanting to keep kids safe. We can't handle their manhood and freedom. If shit hits the fan they will kill each other faster than a Marine. It's in their DNA, they simply can't trust anyone they don't know. .
We do not have enough jobs for the millions of illegal aliens already hiding in the US. What possible use is there in taking in tens of thousands more on a monthly basis?
Errr yeah that was 2018, and its says number rose 58% last year - 2017 And we are half way though 2019 And they have dropped back down Whole thread is a non argument, or a two year old argument that sorted itself out
The thread is about the detainment and treatment of asylum seekers. That's fine if you think its sorted out, no one cares. You've wasted way too much time defending the indefensible and unconscionable.
Anyways the latest news at the border: A 16 year old died after not receiving medical treatment while in custody: 16-year-old migrant boy dies in U.S. custody, 5th child to die since December 16-year-old migrant boy died alone, next to border facility toilet, autopsy report reveals And a 9 year old American citizen was taken into custody for 32 hours: Border Patrol Detained a 9-Year-Old American Girl on Her Way to School for 32 Hours Its gross some of yall are so comfortable defending this shit
