A generalisation of course. But yes, that men are attractive in one or multiple aspects helps. Not only or always regarding their financial state or social position/status, but also physical attraction. But esp that last aspect counts also for a lot of men.

I'm sorry you have experienced it like this. But although not always, there are usually signs you can notice beforehand if a woman has such golddigger tendencies or may be loose and shallow in their social attachments. Often guys can't resist even if they notice as sex with a 'hot' woman is very tempting, besides having such a woman as a gf is often also kind of a status symbol for a man.

This counts for many people in society that know they have a certain advantage over most others. Not just (attractive) women. And not all women use this advantage in a dubious or immoral way.
Is being aware of such 'a power' and acting on the awareness they can pick and choose more conveniently than others a bad thing by definition?
