The Constitution of the United States of America was written by political scientists. Political theory is at the heart of it. Parliamentary systems is a part of it. National Security policy is a part of it. Police methods is also in the same field. Public Administration structures belongs in there too. I can go on but do not wish to upset you.

Can the small border towns accommodate the numbers?

1770s pot would have been so weak

  8. Not at all. Like any other plant in a agrarian society it would have been cultivated and cross pollinated to produce the best possible product. Sure, we have managed to push it to bizarre limits with modern technology, but marijuana has not gone through an evolutionary change in the span of human history let alone a few centuries.

So when you travel back in time, worry not, you'll still be able to catch a mean buzz. And chase it with strong warm beer!

There is a risk of getting shot or stabbed pretty much any public place in America. I'm more likely to die from a police shooting than a gang shooting in this country. I'm not really concerned about a gang's elaborate plan to walk a thousand miles and get treated like shit just so he can what? Rape white women and terrorize communities with his drug dealing and welfare collection without a real identity in the country since he's so crafty of course?

Anyone with money flies here and never leaves. Who is buying cocaine in the camps? Latin members go where people buy coke they don't hang out with the poor people who can't pay those American prices. The people who walked here are trying to escape cocaine violence.

They can if we had temporary housing. Like the kind you put up after a disaster or unused stadiums. Places that are like the camps are an area whey they live in crowded conditions but in a more humane way. Like no cages and they are free to leave I don't think it's fair to literally ask Americans to house people they don't know. That is an extreme people take in debate to hid from their nationalistic views. To say that if you want housing and food in the extreme disaster sense at least to go to refugees than you must be ok with any criminal and an unlimited amount of people in your house.

People often take in hurricane victims temporally. And the free good will of the American people is something the politicians will praise. Americans helping other people. Some could choose to do that too.

Fox news says if you don't like the country you need to leave and find one with views that suite your own. When these people do that they are told to go back and fix their own country. It's a double standard that is the reason for the camps too. America is a white English speaking country only to some people. The concepts of freedom and the ethics of fixing the country under these principals are only possible by and for the white race. It's why they hate the idea a Spanish person can take "their" country. Where these camps are was Mexico and spoke Spanish only long after America was a country. Who really decided who owns what? Spanish, English, and Chinese are extremely common languages statistically in the world. It's not really that much of a threat to white English speakers if Spanish people come. There will still be "English" culture and jobs. The free market will solve it.

A new question? Read more carefully. Nobody has a complete explanation for that one, but I think Trump's threat to build the wall, the efforts of open borders activists , and deteriorating conditions in Honduras go a long way toward one.

The Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act, requiring children from Central America to be given a court hearing before they are admitted or deported, hasn't contributed to the influx, but has helped to create a bottleneck. Political polarization makes it impossible to come up with rational solutions.

    What's your explanation?

  13. The numbers have doubled, so let's put a handful of them in concentration camps. If that isn't deterrent enough, we can kill them, because, after all, more and more people keep coming. It's a pragmatic deterrent.

It's like I said in another thread that nobody could answer... You make the conditions better and then you'll have more boats coming in, because these people see the detained centres as a small obstacle to a better life. They are coming in by boats to be kept in the centres. No ifs or buts about it. It's not a risk/reward to them, it's exactly what they're hoping to find in hopes it creates a more opportunistic future for them.

So anyway you create a better control centre and the problem escalates because you now have more and more boats coming in because the conditions are even better.

Then what do you do with them America? Now the problem has escalated by up to 500%. Come on America. Tell me what you do America. Tell me how making it fairer and better for them helps your homeless out, and tell me why that shouldn't piss off your own countrymen down and out who can't make their own way in life. Tell us how treating illegal immigrants better than your own countrymen helps your countrymen show more tolerance and acceptance, America. Why should an illegal family have it better than a legal family?

  15. Like I said, you don't make it better. You make it terrible. Terrible to the point where murdering them doesn't seem so bad. Then you start torturing and killing them. As a deterrent. That's the only solution. You couldn't just stop, say, pissing and moaning about Mexicans.

Ja, I don't think people really think. They come up with all these solutions and place no thought onto what that actually does for anybody else but at least they feel better about themselves for having a nice thought..

In a perfect world yes your solution might be perfect. But this isn't a perfect world and there's repercussions for everything you do. I think people tend to forget about that, or hold their own values and ideas over everyone else and really that doesn't help either.

I think there's a middle ground between making them comfortable and committing human rights abuses. It's true that as long as conditions are so bad in the home countries that they fear for their lives, they may continue to take the risk. The only recourse is to put more resources into detention centers and processing asylum applications, clarifying the standards for asylum (people fleeing crime and poverty instead of political persecution don't qualify), and maybe working more with the home countries to combat the gangs, violence and poverty that makes the situation a chronic problem. If there were easy answers, someone would probably have thought of them by now. Unfortunately, I think politicians in both parties aren't interested in solutions because they want to keep the issue alive for electoral purposes.

Yeah that's all great in theory dude but what does that do to your own legal citizens? Why aren't they treated with the same benefits? So you pass the illegal immigrants off as being accepted in America and then what? They have no job to help pay for their living and of you help them get a job but don't help your own legal citizens get a job, how do you expect them to just take that with a good heart and good intentions?

Its not fair on an illegal immigrant to pass them through asylum and just throw them out into a country and expect them to what? Learn the language and pick up a full time job? Lol. Yeah right.

Give them better living conditions and opportunities than your own people? Yeah that'll totally go down well, you'd be racist to be upset with that..

    Lol.

    Lol.

Yeah I think some people look at this like a game of sim city or something where people just bend over backwards and do and think what you say to them with an unlimited money hack cheat like oh well just spend more money and make everything better. Well come on, where you getting the money for better infrastructures? What's going to happen to the increased volume of asylum SEEKERS when this happens?

There has not been one realistic legitimate answer that wasn't some douche HF user patting themselves on the back like they're going to make a difference. So fucking typical from you lot. Pretenders.

Really? You don't think politics exists? Or is important? Or that government isn't? The worst thing is to be involved in politics, as you are right now, and not to be aware of it. Political science is far from an exact science, but it's an effort to use evidence and systematic analysis to try to get a better understanding of political reality, instead of spouting whatever half-baked idea pops into your head about such matters as why there is an immigration crisis.
