Cleaned my new place. Got the key a few days ago. Will move next weekend.

Nice to get a whole apartment for myself but gonna miss my old street..!

 

Still downtown btw in the same city centre. 10 minute walk from my old place, although it's on the other side of said city centre (dutch city centres are not that huge)

 

Lost 9 of 11 lambs this week to the damn worms. Reckon we're gonna stop doin' sheep till we come up with a solution. Apparently the barber pole worms this year have become immune to all current treatments so all the nearby farms are loosin' their herds. Amish were discussing the issue last farmer's market

 

The lambs in the fields near my parents were send for slaughter last week. 5 months old max. I coincidently talked to the owner just after he sold them as i was cycling by. We discussed their short lifes for awhile.
The sheep they were seperated from are still there, doing fine. Takes like half a day or shorter before they're (seemingly) over the loss of their lambs. I'm pretty sure they're not traumatized or something. In fact they look quite content

At the new In n Out in this city. I think I mentioned it was under construction a couple months ago. Not only did they add the In n Out but it's like in an all new mini-shopping center. I'm not much of a shopper but It's exciting.

I find it interesting, when I was growing up, I always disliked the construction of new stores and buildings in my city but I kind of like it in this city, which I didn't grow up in. I suppose it's fairly common to develop a fondness for your city/town that you grow up in with associated memories and experiences.

 

I'm not too bothered about the place I grew up in. They can do what they like to it, I'm glad I'm not there anymore.
