Cancun is a bit of a tourist death trap. I'd come to Playa Del Carmen next time, but I scored 6 free nights since my hotel overbooked.

Today i went parasailing and saw whale sharks!

 

Seems to me (with a UK eye) t'was the beginning of Corporate Power, Those with cash looked at the resources that the Native peoples had, took advantage of the good; perhaps innocent nature in order to build across lands, dig up natural resources buy slaves/employ peoples at low pay and live the high life.
The US was a haven for Immigrants at one time, Now those same Corporate masters build a wall.
I just would have though that Team America would be just that, we, and not me/s
Still, it's not my country - and so to each their own.

 

Well, parasailing and whale sharks sounds a lot cooler than hamburgers, why didnt you say that in the first place?

If folks don't like our way of doin' things they should just head for the border. You don't like us celebratin' our independence because our forefathers didn't manage to right every wrong and squash each injustice with a single damn document? What were they s'posed to be, gods? Me either. I assumed there are hookers and sketchy dudes selling you coke on the beach in pretty much every coastal tourist town, but in my mind Cancun does not equal hookers.
