Robert S. Mueller III delivered a starkly different presentation on Wednesday from the same lectern, saying that charging a sitting president was never an option, no matter the evidence. Instead, his investigators asked another question: Could they clear the president?

When Donald Duck was first elected I said the guy could be the first president to be retroactively impeached. He was elected against the wishes of his own party leaders, and either the republican party and democrats get rid of the bum or they both lose all credibility with anyone who isn't a die hard Nazi or reality TV fan. If the two parties lose anymore credibility, they will make third world dictatorships look more democratic.

I sincerely hope we don't try for an impeachment. The way I understand it, we will lose and that means he will win. He'll campaign on a no impeachment no collusion no obstruction basis. ugh... I think Pelosi's agenda is right on. Keep investigating but don't touch impeachment because then Senate is just waiting to hand us our ass.

 

Pelosi can spout all the crap she wants. Donald Duck was being thoroughly investigated by the democratic party from the day he showed any promise of becoming the next president. All this bullshit in the news is their way of saying they are taking their fight public and putting the screws to The Donald hoping he flips his lid and republicans start to entertain impeaching him. If they can't impeach him, then the democratic party becomes nothing more than part of the same republican reality TV that merely pretends to be a government with teeth.

A president who represents the people and a congress that doesn't is not a recipe for a happy ending. He doesn't represent his own party leaders, and the public clearly has no faith left in their own government. If our government became anymore corrupt we would have to dismantle the entire thing and start over from scratch. As it is, without a revolution it would require a decade or longer just to restore any semblance of a real democracy.

Americans could not care less about his tantrums. They voted the guy into office against the wishes of his own party leaders, because they have no confidence in the system to begin with. Obama's a nice guy, but nice guys finish last, and he did nothing whatsoever to combat corruption, because the American people assume if they elect the right idiot they can combat their own corruption. White people are even questioning the value of having even a pretense of a democracy anymore, because they corrupted it all to hell long ago.
