You're not trying to come over here then? It seems like his policies could directly affect you if that were the case.

That’s how I think when I take a Progressive Woke pill before the affect wears off.

Seeing the whole world through the lens of oppressor/oppressed is a trait of progressive woke politics. Just ask any of your cult followers

Side effects of this pill include: temporary loss of IQ, anti-Russian anxieties, applauding children in burlesque drag shows, supporting transgender men in women’s sports, graying of skin, and hallucinations of racism in places where it doesn’t exist.

  5. I can relate, I was an ANYBODY but, the Clintons voter. I liked Bernie because he wasn't typical establishment silver spooner. But, the democrats were too fixated on giving Hillary "her turn" to be president.

I can only wonder what the past two years under Bernie might have been like.

I suppose better late than never.

The main difference in a two-party system is that the centerists look better on camera. When in reality there is almost no difference.
Canadians are learning that right now with Trudeau, who turned out to be no different in any way to his conservative predecessor, Harper. Just like Bush-Obama-Trump.

Obama and Biden were imperialist war-mongers who committed countless war crimes and were hated around the world.

If they were some kind of "heroes" there wouldn't have been historic social movements such as Occupy Wall Street, Black Lives Matter, Anonymous and Standing Rock (just to name a few).

We might all have healthcare, but Twitter's stock would probably be down a bit.

Michael Bennet jumped in today too.

21's a crowd, but he did call Ted Cruz a hypocrite on the senate floor, so I'm pretty sure I like him.

The reality is that the Obama administration had more intelligence and sensible policies in any one day of those 8 years than Trump will have altogether in his presidency. As far of the rest of the world, I worked with Mexicans and Canadians on NAFTA.....I know how they feel. We were in Cabo on the day Trump was burned in effigy to get rid of bad feelings....I will be north of 49 degrees this month and see how the Canadians have enjoyed Trumps tariffs and insults. Obama’s years were not perfect but would have been even better without the racists and their garbage.

This is what Trump fans do though

It's one thing to think Obama was a good president, but it's another to look at a list of factual things that occurred during his administration and call them lies

  12. Hey now, he did get the Nobel Peace Prize!!!!

Granted, he hadn't actually done anything by that point. But it's the thought that counts.

I agree mostly, though I think some of those links lack context.

Obama did increase deportations. He also set up DACA which stopped deportations for undocumented minors brought to the country by their parents.

I agree, Obama was a mixed bag. I didnt care for his foreign policy but he did good things domestically. DACA puts him miles ahead of Trump in terms of immigration

Fuck those polls man. Very untrustworthy indications, that too many people take too serious.

Where I think we differ: I don't see war as a crime. It's a necessary part of life in a world that doesn't always get along.

I think Obama brought some troops home at some point. I remember a distinct feeling that the war (in Afghanistan) was finally over. Do you remember that? I do.

Are you saying that because of 2016? 2016's polls closed to Hillary up by 3% before election day, and she won the popular vote by 2.1%. Within the margin or error, they were accurate then too.

It is a little early for reliable polling because so many thing can change, but polling itself is the only good objective measure of public opinion. Other than that you're looking at "crowd sizes" or "The people I talk to".

No, I'm saying that because they're self fulfilling prophecies in general.
They're never that reliable. Lucky indications at best when they 'prove' to be right afterwards.
Most voters weren't asked so it all depends on who and how many people a poll was actually based on.
