I a bit disappointed with my hedger. It weighs a ton but the chainsaw bit doesn't actually rotate on an angle... Which is what I bought the things for. The hedging accessory does though. It's not 7am yet so I can't test it but I got everything read to go and I'm practicing and my arms are toasted already and I haven't even started lol. I think it'll be okay for the very back of the hedge which I can never reach but I'm still going to be on ladders which defeats the purpose of the bloody thing. Maybe in another 5 years it would have been worth it.

Feel like going to store and ripping into that boy that sold it to me. Doesn't know what he's talking about.

Busy day today. I have a shitload of exams to mark, and have to make a 4 hour round trip to pick up my daughter (my parents are bringing her halfway).

It'll be nice to have her back though, and I'll get some alone time to listen to podcasts. I actually don't really mind driving alone. Just put $1900 into the Toyota, so it should be a smooth drive.

 

We did about 2/3 hedge. I used the pole saw to get the very back which helped but like I thought I was still up on the ladder. But it worked I guess. I'll do rest tomorrow because my arms hurt now. At least it came in handy.

 

1900?….does that include 4 tires?....thats a big bill for billy?

My arms are always so sore after having to hold them up in the air for a while. I guess I don't use those muscles very often.

It was exhaust (a couple of different things), brakes, front axles. I've had the thing for 11 years and haven't put any real money into it, so I guess it was time. Runs really smoothly now.

I'll probably meet them somewhere around orillia. Maybe webers, it's about halfway between here and smithville.

 

the most overblown burger in Canada.....I dont know why people love that place and say ''we have been stopping there for years''.....bullshit....everyone goes once...maybe twice.....they have a bear burger....I feel like you havnt explored off that 400 much?......next time take hwy 27 south out of barrie[at essa road]...it is a nice drive down to north of Toronto…...also the 5 side road leaves barrie and runs parallel on the west side of 400 all down through Hollands landing and ends up at the top of Bathurst street....you can take Bathurst right into the downrtown of Toronto.....another nice...really nice drive is hwy 169 from hwy 11 over to hwy 69.....right through bala….bala is really pretty

I've never had a webers burger, but everyone I know says that it is average at best.

Usually I take the more direct route because I don't want to risk screaming kids for any longer than I have to, Haha.

Sometimes I'll take 27 if the 400 looks congested (or if I miss the 401 and end up taking the 427 to the end).
