I thought it could also be done on your smartphone, so without having to send it to your pc.

 

I've never used this personally to make gifs but I had it as a webhook integration for collaboration software I used to use, so I think it should work.

Here's a bigger problem I'm having lately: when I share images on here I get the image url by opening the pic on a new tab, then copy said url.
I do this on my Samsung S3 smartphone in Chrome.
But i do this by pressing the pic for a sec, which give me the option to open it in another tab (among other options). Thing is; recently in like 90% of the times it doesn't give me those options anymore. Nothing happens. So I can't get the url and share the pics here....!
Any idea how to solve this, or get the url another way?

 

yes phone...most phones will take multiple rapid shots if you hold down the button...my phone takes a photo with many methods one being the power button.....it then has an option to put them together in a gif

my phone is junk but has a radio which I never use …LG Xpower3

 

Different phones might have different nuances but I can just tap the image I want to share, rather than press down until the image options menu appears, and it'll direct me to the image address url.

 

@Asmodean change the swipe setting on your phone asmo.....most phones give you a swipe setup choice....yours has reset on an update possibly

 

asmo just curious....your phone in dutch or English?....do you do real time translation for us?

 

If I was never be able to open a pic in a new tab anymore I would assume it was because Chrome doesn't update anymore on the S3. But sometimes it still works. Its becoming rare though.

 

Chrome and its settings are all in dutch on my phone. But often dutch internet lingo is close to english terms. Words like browser and tab etc.

When you browse in chrome in images and click on one you get that page where theres also always that share button. That if you tap on it shows options like share via twitter, e-mail, copy image link etc. But that link you csn copy there seems useless: it goes like:
